Hello, I'm a freshman at Southwest Jiaotong University. Jiaotong University is indeed very big, and it took me a month to familiarize myself with the campus when I first came to the school. When you come to Jiaotong University, these are the places you must visit.
First is the South Gate of Jiaotong University. As the front of the University, the South Gate is very grand, on which the "Tangshan Road Mining School" is the predecessor of the University, implying that the University of Communications since the establishment of a number of relocations, a number of name changes, and through the wind and rain is still standing, the spirit of the grandeur.
Walking into the south gate, we can see the Locomotive Museum, which is also a major feature of Jiaotong University. Inside the locomotive can be real, on the "battlefield"! As the university's ace major, rail transportation is strong, like the locomotives in it, it will last forever. Inside the cafe, sitting inside a cup of afternoon tea, serene and mysterious, can be said to be very enjoyable.
Walking straight ahead, you can see our "Machine Training Center" monument. Mr. Fan Yuanlian, the then Chief Minister of Education, wrote the inscription on the plaque awarded to Tangshan Industrial College (now Southwest Jiaotong University) in 1916, highly praising the school's spirit of patriotism, revitalization of China, hard work, and self-improvement. This has become a code word for the people of Jiaotong University.
When you come to a university, you must visit its library. Our library is located in the center of the campus, next to Xi Lake, in a beautiful environment, and likewise, the library is a mecca for events. writers' exchange meetings, photography exhibitions, garden tours, etc. all add greatly to the charm of this building.
And our Rainbow and Breakup Bridges, School History Hall, Flying Saucer Stadium, etc. are all great places to get to know Jiaotong University. If the subject likes Jiao Tong University, you are welcome to visit often.
