Guangxi University for Nationalities College of Arts was founded in 2002, formerly known as the Department of Art of Guangxi Institute for Nationalities, in July 2003 was reconstructed as Guangxi Institute for Nationalities College of Arts. There are six undergraduate majors in art design, fine arts, music performance, choreography, broadcasting and hosting arts and radio and television choreography. Among them, broadcasting and hosting art is the earliest undergraduate major among similar majors in Guangxi colleges and universities.
