Due to my limited mobility, I cannot participate in the organizational life of the party branch normally. Important study materials, documents, and party branches will be sent to my home. I will insist on self-study at home.
I usually care about current affairs, pay attention to watching TV news, and read newspapers every day. Even reading newspapers is not easy. I have to spread one side of the newspaper on a big table and use a cane to support it while reading. A stack of newspapers fell to the ground, so I picked them up and continued reading.
While studying, I encountered many difficulties, such as: it was inconvenient to turn pages with one hand. I often had to read a page of articles several times, and I had to find something heavy to hold down the page. Put a paper folder and record down your thoughts and achievements. It is very difficult to write with one hand, especially when writing things in a notebook. If you press the notebook while writing things, either the writing will be too messy or the notebook will fall off. Typing with one hand is slow and inconvenient. Some operations require both hands to be performed at the same time. I use a long pen to operate with my right hand. I overcame various difficulties and persisted in learning.
According to the arrangements of the party branch, I studied relevant books and articles about the Scientific Outlook on Development, carefully understood the core of the Scientific Outlook on Development, the profound connotation of the first essence, and the four basic requirements, and wrote down "Reading Notes on Learning the Scientific Outlook on Development" and "Reflections on the Activities of Learning the Scientific Outlook on Development", learned Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", and deeply understood the line, principles and policies since the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. , and constantly improve their theoretical level.
I summarized my experience and thoughts on studying the government work report, my experience on studying General Secretary Hu Jintao’s speech at the meeting commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Scientific Development. The community is my home, and its construction depends on everyone. I take caring about community construction as my own responsibility, actively support the work of the community and neighborhood committees, and enthusiastically participate in community activities. I care very much about the construction of the community and often combine what I think with the current situation. Provide suggestions to the community on the work and activities that the situation requires, as well as methods and methods: for example, it is recommended that community party organizations carry out activities to celebrate party members’ birthdays, review the oath of joining the party, recall personal growth history under the party’s training, and allow party members to participate in these activities To stimulate revolutionary passion, rejuvenate youth and vitality, and better play the vanguard and exemplary role of party members. It is recommended that the party organization in the community should often organize party members to carry out public welfare activities in the community, such as picking up white garbage, cleaning up white pollution, etc., doing practical things to beautify the community environment, pairing up with the poor people in the community, and doing good things and practical things for the people. , give full play to the vanguard and exemplary role of Communist Party members and many other suggestions.
Due to my physical limitations, I cannot join the community to participate in various activities, but I can use my hobby of writing to give full play to my residual energy. I am willing to do more for the party and the community to the best of my ability. For publicity work, I actively supported the work of the community and neighborhood committees, and enthusiastically participated in community activities, such as writing manuscripts and participating in essay solicitation activities. I wrote manuscripts "Reflections on Learning from the Deeds of Comrade Wu Daguan" and "Working Together to Manage the Community" "A New Chapter for Autonomy", "Suggestions on Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" and other articles. I also wrote essays such as "Song for You", "Advice and Suggestions for Learning the Scientific Outlook on Development", "I Watch the National Day Military Parade" Thoughts", Me and "Open Letter" (the voice of an old family planning worker). My wife took me out, and I saw a notice on the bulletin board of the neighborhood committee holding an essay contest called "I am the best at saving energy and reducing emissions." I called the director to ask, and the director said to me: It's hot, I didn't tell you.
The director was so considerate to me, and I wanted to participate even more. I also wrote an essay on "Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Starts with Me." I tried my best to complete every task assigned by the community leaders in order to better serve the community.
In order to support the community in carrying out cultural and entertainment activities, I edited three and a half sentences of "Singing Harmony and Good Neighbors", prose poems "Praise to Harmony" and "Praise to a Harmonious Community" for the community. In order to cooperate with family planning publicity, I wrote Allegro "Family Planning is Good" and the short drama "Changes" reflecting the work of family planning, and also wrote programs such as the allegro "Point" and the sketch "Water" reflecting the energy conservation and emission reduction work. When writing these papers and programs, I always I am always thinking, remembering a few sentences and writing them down. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night and remember a few sentences, I have to get up and write them down quickly, and revise them many times to strive for excellence. All works and articles are typed word by word on the computer with one hand. Although there are some difficulties, I can contribute responsibly to the development and construction of the community in this way. I have no regrets and am very happy. . This is because the bright red party flag will always fly high in my heart!
I always keep in mind that I am a member of the Communist Party of China, keep in mind the oath I took when I joined the party, understand the responsibilities I shoulder, conscientiously fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of a party member, and actively participate in the community with a helpful attitude When I saw reports about the disaster on TV, I would call the neighborhood committee to ask about donations, and actively donate money and materials.
A major earthquake occurred in Sichuan. The disaster affected our hearts. I also actively participated in donating money. When I saw the report on TV about the payment of special party dues proposed by the Party Central Committee, I I took the initiative to hand over my special party dues to the party branch. Although the money was not much, it was my loyalty to the party and the people as a Communist Party member.
Comrade Mao Zedong once said: People must have a little spirit. As a member of the Communist Party, this should be the case. You must consciously contribute to the revolution and society no matter when and where you are. I feel that such a life is fulfilling and more meaningful.
The party branch and neighborhood committee have always cared about and helped me. They sent me study materials, hired barbers who came to serve me, solved my difficulty of traveling, and gave me many honors.
