In the late spring of 1947, Li Tong, the daughter of a diplomat of the Kuomintang government, spends her twentieth birthday in a joyful atmosphere, and then leaves her hometown with her girlfriends, Huang Hui Fen, Lei Zhi Ling, and Zhang Jia Xing, and goes to the United States to study. One year later, on a winter's day, the four ladies are in a restaurant celebrating the fact that Li Tong's boyfriend, Chen Yin, has graduated from Harvard University and found a job as a lawyer. In the meantime, Li Tong unexpectedly receives a telegram that her parents have been killed at sea on their way to Taiwan, and faints. Soon after, the disillusioned Li Tong could not afford to continue her studies and quietly left her girlfriend, not knowing where she was. Three years later, at the weddings of Chen Yin and Huang Huifen, who worked in a publishing company, and Dr. Wang and Zhang Jiaxing, who worked as a music teacher in an elementary school, a heavily made-up Li Tong floated in, much to the surprise of the crowd. Li Tong danced and drank like no one was watching, causing her friends to have mixed feelings. Soon after, Chen Yin reads in the newspaper that Li Tong has been detained by the police for being drunk and disorderly, and goes to the police station to bail her out and bring her back home, in order to persuade her to find a new way. However, Li Tong has no hope in life, and continues to spend her time with a happy-go-lucky attitude. After traveling around the world, she came to her birthplace, Venice, and threw herself into the sea with a longing for her hometown.
Why did I look for this movie? It is because yesterday at home listening to Vivienne Chan's "where life does not meet" MTV has Pu Cunxin, a moment of curiosity
Search, and found that MTV in the movie called "The Last Aristocrat", hehehe.
