How to understand the sentence "The most beautiful scenery is always in the distance"?

The most beautiful scenery is always in the distance. I think it literally means that the most beautiful scenery is a distant place I have never seen before. I understand the actual meaning like this. People always yearn for what they don't have, what they can't get and what they hope to get. People who are not satisfied, lack of ability and can't reach the distance have become the most beautiful.

Nowadays, people are not satisfied with the status quo, hoping to meet their expectations or even better. Needless to say, others, myself, all think that pursuit is the best.

There is no best, only the worst. When we compare with each other, we think that what others have is enviable, and we want to strive to reach the height of others. But once you reach the height you expect, you will look forward and there will be a place you yearn for more, just in the distance.

You won't bow your head, you won't look back, you don't know how many people envy what you have and the distance you have reached in the eyes of others. If you are not satisfied with the status quo, you may be very tired and have been looking for it, because you always think that the most beautiful scenery is always in the distance, and you have never seen it.
