Perhaps because of the Chinese New Year, scattered firecracker shavings were all over the place, and together with the garbage thrown away during the camping trip, it made the park a mess. A few of us immediately took out our plastic bags and started to work, each of us was responsible for an area, and we worked feverishly. The lawn was full of bushes and thorns, which made us get stuck in the process of picking up garbage from time to time. By the time we finished picking up, everyone's hands were all disfigured and scratched out a wound. However, everyone insisted on picking up all the garbage in the bushes. An hour past, two hours past ...... everyone's bag is full.

This volunteer activity let me feel a lot. As soon as I arrived at the park, the pieces of paper, plastic bags and firecracker shavings all over the ground were shocking. I think, people must not want to see their homes are littered with garbage, dirty it! Shouldn't we strengthen our awareness of environmental protection? By doing the practice, I also felt the fun of labor. When I was picking up garbage in the bushes, I could y feel that I am a member of this social family, and I can make my own contribution to the environmental protection cause, and I am a useful person to the society! Whenever I think of this, I will be surging, feel immense joy and relief, live to do better.

Volunteer activities allow me to make their own contribution to society, and feel a lot. I hope that more people will join the volunteer activities, and dedicate themselves to the development of society, so that we can live a better life!
