I am an out-and-out Zuo Quan girl, and my favorite festival is the Lantern Festival in my hometown. In Zuo Quan, New Year's Eve is not lively, and the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month is the climax of the year. By the fifteenth, every household will build a platform with bricks, which will flow into the air holes from all directions, and then build it into a tower shape with honeycomb coal step by step, surrounded by coils of iron wire. It's beautiful. The flourishing fire symbolizes the prosperity in the coming year.
On the night of the Lantern Festival, the villagers gathered around the wanghuo in twos and threes to keep warm and enjoy the fireworks, our little flower play and the wonderful performance of solve riddles on the lanterns, a community fire parade.
Zuo Quan Opera is a form of performance with songs and dances and certain stories. During the Anti-Japanese War, after Liao County was renamed Zuoquan County, the title of "Wensheshuo" was gradually replaced by "Xiaohua Opera", and the performance forms of "Wusheshuo" were lion dancing and dragon lantern playing. Art comes from life, but it is higher than life. Every year during the Lantern Festival, the villagers have to adapt it into folk songs and small flower plays according to all kinds of new things happening in the local area. After the civil and military social fire parades into the streets and alleys, Xiaohua Opera will perform "Zuo Quan Xiaohua Opera" for the villagers on the stage in the village! The fan is a typical prop of Zuo Quan coloratura. Without fans, it can't be called "Zuo Quan Flower Show". Colorful fans dance like a beautiful butterfly. This colorful form of performance greatly enriches the expressive force of villagers' folk dance. Today, Zuoquan County is also rated as the national hometown of art, and 20 14 Zuoquan County was declared as the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
The picture below is a photo taken by me 10 in front of my sister's house. There are red lanterns hanging behind us, and the flames are soaring. Although the photo is blurred, it is still fresh in my memory. When I was a child, my sister painted my makeup early every year and tied two beautiful braids on me. My sister holds the fan that I performed the little flower show in her hand. We were so happy, incomparable. It's a pity that the photo of me wearing a small flower dress has not been preserved until now. In retrospect, our little flower show presented happiness to the people on the stage. Now, in my opinion, we are not performing, but putting our love into this passionate melody. From the smiles of the villagers, I can see the confidence and happiness of Zuo Quan people today.
The Lantern Festival in my hometown left me a profound and beautiful scene, which is worth remembering all my life!
