What are the symptoms of early cirrhosis?

1) loss of appetite: the most common symptom in the early stage of liver cirrhosis, sometimes accompanied by nausea and vomiting, mostly caused by gastrointestinal congestion caused by liver cirrhosis and dysfunction of gastrointestinal secretion and absorption.

2) Weight loss: Symptoms are common in the early stage of sclerosis, which are caused by loss of appetite, insufficient eating, digestive and absorption disorders in the gastrointestinal tract, and decreased albumin synthesis in the body.

3) Fatigue and fatigue: it is also one of the early symptoms, ranging from mild fatigue to severe fatigue, which is consistent with the activity of liver disease. The causes of fatigue are: ① insufficient calories; (2) The intermediate metabolism disorder of carbohydrate, protein and fat leads to insufficient energy production; ③ When the liver is damaged or bile excretion is not smooth, cholinesterase in the blood decreases, which affects the normal physiological functions of nerves and muscles; ④ The process of transforming lactic acid into hepatic glycogen is disordered, and lactic acid accumulates too much after muscle activity.

4) Dull complexion: One third of patients with liver cirrhosis have darker skin around their faces and orbits than before, which is due to liver damage and decreased liver function, leading to increased melanin production.

5) Diarrhea, abdominal distension and abdominal pain: Diarrhea and abdominal distension are mostly caused by intestinal wall edema, intestinal malabsorption (mainly fat), niacin deficiency and parasitic infection. Abdominal pain is mostly in the upper abdomen, often paroxysmal and sometimes colic. Peptic ulcer, biliary tract disease and intestinal infection can also cause abdominal pain.

6) dull pain in liver area: it is also common in liver cirrhosis, accounting for about 60% ~ 80%. It is obvious after fatigue, with jaundice and fever at the same time. It shows that liver cells are obviously damaged, which is of certain significance to the prognosis.

7) Irregular bleeding: Abnormal liver function affects the synthesis of coagulation factors such as prothrombin, and hypersplenism leads to thrombocytopenia, so bleeding of gums and nasal cavity often occurs? There are purple spots or bleeding spots or hematemesis and bloody stool on the skin and membrane.

8) Endocrine dysfunction: when gonadotropin secretion is reduced in liver cirrhosis, it can cause testicular atrophy in men, and when testosterone secretion is reduced, it can cause breast development and pubic hair scarcity in men, and female patients have sparse menstruation, amenorrhea and infertility. Excessive estrogen will dilate the surrounding capillaries, resulting in spider nevus and liver palm. The appearance of spider nevus indicates the development of liver injury. The palm of the liver is red, especially the muscle hypertrophy of thenar, small international and finger tip, which is spotted red.
