When you walk into Linshuitun Village in Beidian Township, Qingyuan County, the white walls, gray tiles and red roofs of the residents' houses reflect each other, and big red lanterns dot the streets, just like a beautiful clip on TV.
Liu Fengrui, a cleaner who is sweeping the street, said the village environment is now good and there is less garbage being thrown. The original rule was to sweep three times a day, but now it's basically just once a day, or even a few days without cleaning.
Zhao Lianfu, secretary of the party branch of Linshuitun village, said the village has developed a regular cleaning mechanism, set up five garbage points at the entrance of the village to ensure that the villagers can be a fixed point of dumping garbage; in addition, the village committee has also taken out a special fund, openly elected to hire three cleaners, and equipped with a forklift and other tools, on the main road regular sweeping, the garbage is buried on a regular basis.

Villagers Chen Yanping said the villagers organized a dance team on their own initiative and went to the cultural square in the village center to dance in the square in their spare time. Linshuitun village is adjacent to Niuzhuang village, Nandian village, Ranhetou village, Beidian village, Nanlinshui village, Tiangezhuang village, Li Bazhuang village, Huangxinzhuang village, Tiangezhuangtun village, Xiguzhuang village, Donglinshui village, Zhonglinshui village, and Xilinshui village.
On March 25, 2015, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Civil Affairs recognized Linshui Tun Village as one of the sixth batch of National Democracy and Rule of Law Demonstration Villages (Communities).
On February 28, 2015, the Central Civilization Committee decided to award Linshuitun Village the title of the fourth national civilized village and town.
Linshuitun Village is near the Ranzhuang Tunnel Battle Site, Qingyuan Guanyin Temple, Zhao Song Ancestral Mausoleum, Song Sanling, and Yangshao Cultural Site in Dongzang Village, and has specialties such as Qingyuan smoked incense, Tianyizhai buns, pickled eggs, vegetable knives, and watermelons in Qingyuan.
