Military dialect, also known as official dialect, is mainly found in a few areas of Guangdong or Hainan, and was used by the soldiers of the guards in the Ming Dynasty as a military secret language, which, due to historical reasons, has since developed into a dialect similar to the Ming Dynasty dialect of conversation used by the descendants of the soldiers of the guards. Except for Kanshitan and Liangjunzhai, which use another military dialect slightly different from ours, all other villages around Qingtang speak Hakka and Fukuo (Hakka and Fukuo vary from place to place, and some people refer to Fukuo as Chaoshan dialect).
