Later, in the "Best in the World" Singer Competition and Young Singer TV Competition organized by us, more and more young singers chose to sing new works, and they all sang well. This is a remarkable achievement, from theoretical discussion to practical action. Today, we held a seminar on "How to Write a Good Song" in Beihai, this beautiful city, near the Beibu Gulf. This is a series of theoretical discussions after How to Sing a Good Song. The meeting was originally planned to be held last year, but it was changed to this year because the timing was not mature enough. This year's opening up has its advantages and significance. For example, as soon as we signed the second batch of songwriters, they became the main force of our creative team. The new forces and the new and old signed musicians will discuss and discuss together, and I believe that each other will gain something. At the same time, the notice of the national "Golden Bell Award" has also come down, and we can take this opportunity to conduct research. I believe that this meeting will be very substantial, rich and fruitful. I call this meeting "Beihai Meeting". I hope that through this meeting, I will leave a wonderful stroke in Guangxi's music creation. Now, talk about my ideas on how to hold this meeting well. Meaning is about the meaning of the meeting, in other words, why is this meeting held? According to authoritative sources, Guangxi's song creation is in an upper-middle position in the national ranking. This is the evaluation of our outside experts. How do we look at this problem? I think we should be calm, calm, not discouraged and not conceited. We should carefully analyze our strengths, weaknesses, advantages and disadvantages, and sum up experiences and lessons, so as to see our achievements and find out the gap. Only in this way can we not be eliminated in the new round of competition, and let this "music ship" ride the wind and waves like a ship on the Beibu Gulf and keep moving forward. This is the reason why we hold this meeting. As we all know, Guangxi's music creation has experienced ups and downs, and we have gone through such a "melody line" as "rise, fall and rise". In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the launch of Liu Sanjie created the first glory of Guangxi folk music. Since then, due to social environment (such as the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution) and human environment, it has also experienced a period of depression and wandering. After the reform and opening up, there appeared some works such as Return from the Market, Take a sip of Yao's honey water, Shanxiang Night Market, and Later Cowbells Ring in the Morning Mist, which can be said to be one of the few outstanding works in the early days of the reform and opening up. By the end of 1980s and the beginning of 1990s, Guangxi's national pop songs, works such as "The Sun at Noon" and "The Sun in Hongshui River" produced in some pen meetings, and works that won awards in the national "New Radio Songs" every year, Guangxi's song creation gradually improved. By the end of 1990s, from 265,438 to the beginning of the 20th century, Guangxi's song creation had a good momentum, and a number of works with certain influence in the whole country appeared, such as Lao Wang, Rural Social Drama, March 9th, Yaoshan Love, and Crossing the Mountain in a Good Day. , won the national "Five One Project Award" and the national "Gold Award". At the same time, a number of outstanding works have appeared, such as Love Song of Beibu Gulf, As long as I am with you, Folk Songs Bring Out the Moon, toast song of Zhuang Nationality, Beautiful and Magical Place, Hometown and so on. Some of these works have won national awards, and some have won awards at party member Song Zhengqi and Folk Song Festival. Judging from the awards, we have all won the National Five One Project Award, Golden Bell Award, Wenhua Award, Radio New Song Award, TV Starlight Award and MTV Award. It should be said that now is a good time for our Guangxi music creation. Of course, this good period has condensed the efforts of several generations. Without the foundation laid by predecessors, without the training and support of predecessors, this good period will not come. Who dares to say that you became famous overnight here? Are you self-taught? Learn from your predecessors, you don't have to attend classes, pen meetings and seminars, and you don't have to let them modify their works, even if you change a note or a word. That is also a great help and guidance. Therefore, we should cherish such a good period and redouble our efforts on this good basis to reach the other side. Second, practice (a) to create a good academic research atmosphere Academic research should pay attention to "truth", "reality", "breadth" and "depth". 1, pay attention to "truth". Dare to tell the truth. Analysis of a work, good is good, bad is bad, where it works, where it doesn't work, you should tell it truthfully, and don't worry, because it only represents your point of view. 2. Pay attention to "reality". Really study and discuss problems. Don't blow the sky, the sky is vast and boundless. 3. Pay attention to "width". The works to be discussed should be "extensive". On the one hand, there are our works in Guangxi, and there are also works that have spread throughout the country, your own works, and other people's works. On the other hand, to treat a problem, we should discuss it from multiple angles and directions. 4. Pay attention to the "depth". It is necessary to conduct in-depth research, and there is no need to waste time on some superficial truths that everyone knows. You should have your own unique ideas, really your own ideas. Don't copy others' things. Come here and read it, and you have finished your task. As long as you have your own unique views on a certain work or a certain phenomenon, you can speak out boldly. You don't have to have a complete structure, or a complete chapter, even a few words, as long as it is your own opinion, it is enough. Third, highlight 1 and emphasize "unity". Through this meeting, we will unite and create a new situation in the development of Guangxi's music industry. This conference is also called the signing songwriters forum. In fact, two words should be added before signing the songwriter, that is, the forum of new and old songwriters. Later, I thought that the new is not necessarily new, and the old is not necessarily old, so I will not mention it. It means this. The significance of the symposium is to hope that the old will bring the new spirit of "passing, helping and bringing". The first batch of songwriters have accomplished their tasks quite well. They all won the Five One Project Award, Golden Bell Award, Broadcasting New Songs Award and China Folk Song Competition Award, and also participated in large-scale creative activities such as "Bagui Song" and "Singing Guangxi", which really played the role of the main force. A new batch of contracted songwriters are full of vigor, pursuit and determination, but they need help, care and encouragement. Therefore, we hold this forum and seminar to exchange feelings, communicate ideas and inspire each other. I hope everyone will attach importance to unity and friendship. 2, to highlight the "academic" seminars, academic, don't take the opportunity to flatter each other, don't take the opportunity to blame each other, let alone take the opportunity to complain. Academic research is academic research. Academic circles can have differences and arguments, but the purpose is to develop the music industry, not to engage in personal attacks. I thought it was a matter of concept. Of course, the conceptual problem is too big, too difficult and too profound to be solved. But we can't always avoid this problem. We should discuss it together and take as much as we can. Otherwise, we will never make progress. Not long ago, I accompanied Xu Peidong to perform in the "Three Rural Areas" in Guangxi. We took the same car and talked a lot along the way. I said that I appreciate the theme songs in his "rural trilogy", such as Shadow of the Hedgehog and Never Live Like this, which have a strong rural flavor, fresh tone and novel techniques. I think this is a milestone in his song creation so far. He said, in fact, this is a matter of concept. These three works, based on the rural tone of the eastern peninsula, pursue a charm, which is not a copy of folk songs, but they sound very "rural" and "peasant" and are very effective in the musical charm of the eastern peninsula. This is a question of concept. Why we can successfully create the first batch of works in black clothes is also a conceptual problem; Yang li Ping's "Yunnan image" is not only the original ecology, but also the original ecology with quotation marks and the original ecology with changes. It is a change in the "living state" of the people, emphasizing "change" while maintaining the original flavor. I have always advocated that a work, even if you have a little innovation, is desirable, rather than imitating others in large sections. I think good works are unexpected. I hope that through this discussion, everyone will pay enough attention to innovation. (3) It is a cliche to further study the problem of "Guangxi Music Score", but we should also talk about the old problems, often. It needs not only constant discussion, but also constant practice. Last year, I went to Xinjiang for an inspection tour, and I heard the song "Our Good Place in Xinjiang" along the way. This song sounds simple, full of charm and style, and it sounds like Xinjiang. I think Guangxi should and must produce such works. If one of us can write a work that is so rich in Zhuang style and so easy to sing, Guangxi Music Notation will be solved.
