The Power of Myth Classic

1. Life is far beyond the reach of human wisdom; he is born from great solitude, and can be touched only from suffering. Only distress and suffering can open the eyes of the heart to see what is not known to others. Spoken by the shamans of the Aiki tribe. (The meaning of suffering is agreed upon by people of different races.)

2. Most people are also unaware of the remnants of "things" that fill the walls of our inner belief systems like ceramic fragments at an archaeological site, but because we are organisms, those "things" exist as energy, and rituals can trigger it. However, because we are organisms, all that "stuff" is in the form of energy, and rituals can trigger it. (Another way of looking at myths that is worth learning from and reflecting on.)

3. "The three goddesses of destiny guide those who wish to go, and those who go with the flow are led by their noses." ---Ancient Roman Proverb (Comment: God is also watching people deal with ah, it seems that the true God and the real person is one and the same!)

4. The ****commonality of the world's mythological themes, (suffering) to point to that eternal longing in the human mind that desires to place itself at the heart of a profound meaning ...... is to go in search of that experience of being truly alive." (The Meaning of Myth)

5. The imperfection of life is what makes him lovable. (Philosophy!)

? Hometown is where you first discover your humanity. Myths are what make us discover who we are. Myths are the clues that help us discover our inner selves. Your meaning is your existence. Human beings have been pursuing external values, forgetting the intrinsic value that exists in the first place, which is the joy of existence itself and the meaning of life. (Instead of letting the external clamor torture us physically and mentally, we should turn to ourselves and pursue the inner peace.)

6. Marriage is a mythical experience in life. Marriage, should be to experience a spiritual fit. If we can lead a normal life, if we have a sound mind for the opposite sex, we can find a suitable partner of the opposite sex.

? (If we don't find the right one or don't experience a spiritual fit, it's because the mind is not sound, it's not sound, so what can we do to adjust it? Experiencing life and suffering with a mythical realm and spirit?)

7. It is not just about falling in love, it is a painful experience, a painful experience of sacrificing the self in order to maintain the relationship between the two and the one. This self in marriage is not just you, but the self after the two become one, and that is an all-encompassing mythic imagery that implies the sacrifice of a visible entity for a transcendent good.

? (In this sense, people who change themselves in marriage or in life in order to maintain a relationship are "gods"? By extension, the gods are all around? That myths exist in life?)

8. In a culture that has reached disposability, there are unwritten rules that the people in it ****ed up with, a social norm, a style, a ****ed up understanding that we don't do this, this is the myth of the new age.

(A social system or norm that allows people to think and behave in the same way, to reach a **** understanding is a new age myth, practicing religion is a myth, square dancing is also a myth? It seems to say that "Ah Chang" "has great divine power" is not an exaggeration and flirtation ah!
