Words of the Soul‖The Rainbow on the Pamir Plateau (2)

After passing the signpost of "Congling Holy Lake" (Congling is the ancient name of the Pamir Plateau with a long history), not far away is a downhill road, connecting the main road and the lakeside space.

? When we arrived, there were not many tourists. We parked the car in the open space by the lake. My son was already impatient in the back seat, dancing and urging us...

? In August, even wearing short-sleeved shirts on the plains feels unbearably hot, but on the shores of Kahu Lake at an altitude of nearly 3,600 meters, you have to wear a thick coat. Although the blazing sunshine on the plateau is particularly dazzling, it cannot warm the high earth! Because we had underestimated the cold, each of us only brought a thin coat for spring and autumn. When we got off the bus, we felt a bit biting in the cold wind. The son didn't care at all, he was already too excited. Taking advantage of the residual warmth in the car, before he even had to zip up his jacket, he was already jumping and cheering, running towards the snow-capped mountains... his lover was chasing after him. Shouting loudly: "Baby, wait for me, put on your clothes..." I also hurriedly took two steps and ran towards the naughty little guy. The little guy stopped when he was approaching the wooden path by the lake. He turned around and laughed, looking at his parents running over...

? The wooden path leads from the grassland to the south of Kahu Lake. It extends eastward along the lake towards the Muztagh Snow Peak. Holding on to the railing of the Nong Road, I stopped and stared... In the deep blue sky, the white snow on the Muztag Peak was reflected. Under the rolling white clouds, the gurgling stream on the green grass was flowing, and the sparkling lake water was reflected at my feet. Looking at the pure world, just staring quietly, slowly... slowly... you will not be able to tell whether we are in the real world or have entered a virtual landscape painting! Walking along the Yong Road by the lake, looking into the distance from time to time, the relaxed and happy feeling is still unforgettable. The son's cheerful laughter and the call of his lover, accompanied by the creaking sound of the boardwalk under his feet, echoed in the pure mountain lake. A happy and open-minded thought emerged spontaneously, and his heart trembled. This majestic Chinese landscape painting seems to have an irresistible atmosphere in the dreamlike phantom. This is the Pamir Plateau, a kind of ultimate beauty in the world!

The thin clothes could not withstand the cold. After a while, the remaining warmth on his body had dissipated, and he began to shiver a little. His little face was turned red from the cold under the scorching sun. . When he was about to leave, his son had a sudden idea. He straightened one arm and pointed at the majestic Muztagh Snow Peak, and made a bow-like gesture with the other hand. He squatted down with his feet in a lunge. The whole posture was like a bow bender. The little hero who shoots the big eagle is also like the sailor on the aircraft carrier who directs the fighter planes to leave the ship and take flight. My lover and I understood each other and pressed the camera shutter in cooperation to capture this wonderful moment.

? Leaving the beautiful Tikka Lake, we continued to move forward. At about 1 o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at the small border county in the west of the motherland - Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County, which we usually call Tajik County. , the county town is not big, and various ethnic groups live together, mainly Tajik.

Since we had to continue our journey towards Khunjerab, we had a quick lunch in the county town, took a short rest, and then continued our journey. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Ta County to Khunjerab. The roads are all flat asphalt roads. Although the terrain is rising, it is relatively flat. Gobi and grasslands are staggered on both sides of the road, and occasionally there are I saw dots of yurts scattered among them. As we approached Khunjerab, snowflakes started to fall from the sky. The further we drove, the bigger the snowflakes became. The front of the car slowly turned into a vast expanse of white. My son was eager to get out of the car and play in the snow, so we had to park the car. At the roadside, I got off the car and took the little guy up to a small slope on the roadside to watch the snowflakes fall. My son excitedly held up his two little hands to welcome the snowflakes like angel white feathers falling from the sky. Standing next to me, I felt this silvery world of "thousands of miles of ice and thousands of miles of snow", and finally understood that my comrades on the plateau often A joking "eating watermelon around the fire" scene.
