Yesterday, the fences separating the neighborhoods were removed, and people were able to move around freely without restriction. After so much time in the city, the enthusiasm and energy of the people could finally be unleashed without fear, and on a warm summer evening, everyone was really happy!
The square was filled with square dancers, and the line was as long as a dragon, and the people watching were crowded.
The shopping street in the neighborhood was crowded with people, and the food stores were open, with people sitting inside enjoying the food.
Although most of the people are still wearing masks on their faces, they can't hide their happiness.
I stood in front of the Cluckadoo Chicken Legs store, waiting for my daughter to come out and buy a chicken leg.
A young couple with their child walked past me, and the woman let out an "ouch," looked up and said, "I can't believe that's poop." This comment drew my attention to two swallows circling overhead.
These two swallows were one in front and one behind, as if the latter was chasing the former. Both of them were calling fast and furious, chattering and noisy, but in a cheerful tone, as if they were having a good time.
They circled above my head like this, one after the other, high and low, far and near, and my eyes followed them, and there was no sound in my ears, only their cries. I felt their happiness with my heart.
With the development of the city, the swallows no longer have a quiet place to stay, even such a noisy neighborhood has become their nesting place. Fortunately, people nowadays have a lot of things to do and have become more civilized, and will no longer go to destroy their nests like people did in the past. So despite the noisy environment, they are still safe.
Sure enough, their nest was nearby. Tired of squawking, one bird landed on the edge of a nest knotted under the building's rain hitch. There must be a baby swallow waiting to be fed in its nest.
The pair of swallows are playing so happily today, what is it that makes them so happy? Are they also looking forward to the end of the epidemic? Or are they infected by the joy of us humans?
Animals have feelings too!
Another example of this is the "Pandora's Box".
