Kite flying is something we all enjoy. A white line is like holding a child's heart; a kite is like a little drop in the long river of childhood.
When I was in kindergarten, there was a fall tour every year, where the sky was always very bright, and there was a big field of shining gold next to it. The air in the park was filled with the fragrance of flowers and plants, and the people in the park were all very happy and at ease: some were dancing in the square, some were talking with their friends, and some were exercising on the fitness equipment, and all of them were having a good time.
On this high and vibrant fall day, my kindergarten classmates and I took out our kites from our backpacks. The kites came in all shapes and sizes: there were little swallows, little goldfish, and little butterflies. ...... Ms. Mao and Ms. Ye helped us to find an open turquoise grass, the students took their kites and stood on the designated position, all of them were eager to try and polish their fists: some players were spinning in place to relieve their tension; some were talking to themselves, cheering and encouraging themselves; some held the white line tightly, and couldn't let go of it with their hands as if they had glue. I couldn't let go. I prayed that I wouldn't be nervous in the middle seat, but my heart felt like it was beating like a drum, and I couldn't get it to settle down. Then look to the "cheering squad" sitting on the stone bench, they also stared at us with an expectant eye!
Mr. Ye saw that we are well prepared, then began to tell us the rules of the competition: "This kite competition is to compare the height of the kite flying, please get ready, 3, 2, 1, start! As soon as Xiao Wang and Xiao Jiang heard the word "start", they immediately cooperated, one of them took the kite and raised it up high, the other one took the other end of the kite and steadily sent the kite up high in the air, look! Their kite had actually become a star in the sky. Xiaoshi and I barely managed to "throw" our Swallow kite into the sky, and it was swaying in the air like a drunken person. Xiaoshi and I looked around, not realizing that our kite was stuck in a big golden tree. The "cheering section" was yelling, "Kite! It's stuck!" And I was just soaking in the fun of flying the kite. Suddenly, a small rock tripped over my foot and I fell to the ground with a thud, laughing in embarrassment. The whole room reacted with laughter, and the whole park was filled with laughter.
"The grass grows and the warblers fly in February, the willow on the embankment is drunk with spring smoke. Children return early from school, busy taking advantage of the east wind to fly paper kites." Kite flying is a game that makes us relax and happy, and it is more of a childhood memory.
