It was not until 2004 that the East Timorese President went to Shenyang to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. It was a huge scene, and he wanted to build it into the largest amusement park in Asia. For some reason, the reconstruction stopped soon.
In August 2002, in order to support the 12th National Games of Liaoning Province, Tiexi District Government invested120,000 yuan to transform it into a large public indoor fitness center in the unfinished building of Shenyang amusement park. After its completion, it was the largest and only indoor national fitness center in Shenyang at that time. It was transformed from an unfinished building project and opened to the public free of charge.
In the National Fitness Center, there are all kinds of fitness activities, such as tennis courts, table tennis courts, volleyball courts, roller skating rinks, basketball courts and various fitness equipment.
