A friend from the east came to ask me to go to the Yangjin Highway from Yangmingshan to Jinshan to see the mango blossoms in the fall, saying that in the impression of his life, the wild lilies in the eastern valleys in the spring and the Sugamese mango blossoms on the Yangjin Highway in the fall were the most beautiful sceneries in Taiwan. Nowadays, the wild lilies in the eastern valleys are no longer available due to the development of the mountainous areas and the destruction of the environment, and the only remaining beauty that can be booked is the Sugarbush flowers in Northern Taiwan. He said, "Just like people who live in the northern part of the country who make reservations for snow, the Sugamo flowers in the fall are the only snow that can be reserved!" I agreed to my friend's invitation, thinking that two years ago we also went to Yangmingshan with some friends to see mango blossoms on a cool autumn day. After two years, the blossoms met us on earth again as if we had made an appointment, but the people who saw the blossoms with us had long since changed because of karmic changes and separations. A friend left his hometown to live in a snowy country. A friend suffers from hallucinations and often hears the camel bells of his childhood in his ears. A friend was actually bitten by a rare hundred-pace snake and made three trips back and forth to the ghost gate. The friend who asked me to watch the mango blossoms ended a twenty-year marriage and returned to the uninhibited life of a bachelor.
And me! The most loving mom died of an illness, went through a divorce and remarriage, and had a second child at 45. It's only been two short years, and if we turn our heads and look around, two years is enough time for all of us to be turned upside down, and even those who live the most ordinary and stable lives can't be separated for two years without karmic separation! Even the most senseless and indifferent heart, it is impossible to not cry and laugh and waves in two years ah! In our lives, is change normal, or is it normal to remain unchanged? The stream in front of the window is changing every moment, and even the seemingly motionless green hills are changing with the seasons. We know deep in our hearts that life cannot remain unchanged, yet we are accustomed to being comfortable and unchanged in our lives, which creates a predicament in life. Who of us didn't long for this kind of life when we were teenagers: a successful love that lasts forever. Successful career and success in the world. The parents are healthy, and the family is always there.
Wife and son filial piety, family and happiness. Brothers and friends, righteousness ...... This is for the life of the "always" yearning, but in the drag and tear of the years, we gradually see hidden in the mask of the "always", the flickering eyes of the "change". It is as if we were caught in a big wave, holding on to the driftwood of life, but we are not able to resist the wave at all, floating and sinking with the wind, and we gradually realize the inconceivable nature of karma, and that most of our lives are not bookable. We can make a reservation for the blossoming of the Sugamanga flowers on the mountain next fall, but how can we make a reservation for the changes that will take place in our lives when the Sugamanga flowers are in bloom? We may be able to make a reservation for a meeting in the next life, for example, but how can we know for sure that what is on the three life stones is really the spirit of the previous life? In our life journey, we have all had the experience of having a reunion, and also had the experience of meeting with friends we haven't seen in ten or twenty years, and we are often shocked when we look at each other, because the changes are often greater than we expected.
Every time I have a reunion or reunite with an old friend, my heart will always fall into a kind of fearful blankness, I am afraid of the change of life is huge, but also bewildered at the smallness of the human helplessness. My thoughts fall with the bewilderment, and I think: If only I could go back to thirty years ago, there would be no trials in life, no storms in love, no sufferings in life, no tortures in marriage, but only laughter, singing, looking around and dancing. But then I thought, "If we could really go back thirty years, wouldn't it be the same changes and the same suffering if we went back another thirty years? Unless we stop time and space and freeze the years, which is completely impossible. To y understand the "constancy" and "change" of life, and to develop a heart of compassion and forgiveness, to have a blessing for the constancy of life, and to have a forgiving heart for the change of life, is to be able to recognize the change of one's own karma. In turn, we should not regret or worry about the changes in our own karma, and we should not complain or worry about the changes in other people's factors, which is the subject of our life! Of course, karma's "constant" does not have to be good, karma's "change" is not all bad, the warm winds of spring make the wild lilies bloom, the soughing winds of autumn make the Sugamang flower show face, the same time and space in the flow of beautiful images, moving stop motion, only to see standing on the hill can not be wholeheartedly engaged, know how not to appreciate it. In the years, we have walked through many springs, summers, autumns and winters; in life, we have walked through many colds and hots, I always believe that in the deeper and wider place, we must maintain a beautiful heart, an appreciative heart, like thinking of the lilies in spring, thinking of the mango blossoms in the fall, and always maintaining the hope of making an appointment. At this time when I have not yet seen the mango blossoms, I think of the car winding its way up the beige-colored mountain path, and the mango blossoms overlapping beautifully with the memories of the past, and my heart winds along with the mountain path.

Introduction II
As a freelance writer in Taiwan, Lin Ching-hsuen has created a record of three consecutive years as the No. 1 on Taiwan's annual bestseller list, and is the second bestselling male author in the past 10 years, with more than a hundred of his works, earning him the reputation of "the clearest essay at the end of the century, and the most beautiful voice in the world" in the Chinese reading circle, especially among young people.
"In the face of life's unmanageable birth, old age, sickness, and death, we are able to search for the homeland of the soul with ups and downs. People have limits, but having dreams is always the most beautiful." Lin Qingxuan's voice and emotion will be his life legend fragment and dish out, the shape of the scattered but not the spirit of the demonstration of the transformation of life's bitter journey into a cultural journey of great wisdom -
Warm a pot of wine under the moonlight
"You ... ...You go away ......" Young Lin Qingxuan only felt a thunderbolt from the clear sky, he tried to take a sip of coffee to force himself to calm down, but his left hand and right hand together shook so much that he couldn't grab the cup. The first love of five years in love unexpectedly proposed to break up, before he would even go around suing for a string of wind chimes to send his girlfriend, he really wanted to get down on his knees in the cafe and beg her to come back, but the sense of dignity of the manly man made him not want to lose face.
"It was then that I realized what it was like for Wu Zixu to cross Zhaoguan -- to have his hair turn white. "A few days later, Lin Qingxuan's hair and eyebrows fell out in a hurry, and he tried to kill himself all day. But when people are unlucky, they can't even beg for death, and they go out on the street and crash cars but the cars always avoid them.
In the end, he chose a very beautiful death plan. He went to the beach in Hualien and wanted to jump into the sea in his white suit and melt into the sunset. But he found a monk chanting Buddha's name in the most beautiful pavilion on the seashore, so he thought he would come back two hours later to commit suicide in a magnificent and graceful way. Unexpectedly, two hours later, he found that the pavilion had changed a few more monks. At the end of the day, he knew several monks but attempted suicide. He looked for monks to ask about it and realized that the original here often people commit suicide, the monks then volunteered to come on duty, no longer want to commit suicide a lot of people then become a monk. "No wonder there are such young and monks here." Lin Ching-hsien was delighted to discover the secret, "I didn't want to become a monk, so I went back home to Taipei."
A few years later, still at a cafe, a girlfriend again proposed a breakup, and Lin Ching-hsien picked up his cup of coffee and said faintly, "I just want to ask you to wait a little while for me to finish this cup of coffee."
Little Qingxuan sweated and starved with his father and brother in the coconut wind and banana rain, and labored with calloused hands in the fields. But in junior high school, he had three dreams that transcended the mortal world.
He wanted to be a writer. His father was amused to hear that he sat at home writing about people sending him money.
He wanted to travel the world. Once, he got so lost in looking at a map of Egypt that he forgot to boil water for his father, who slapped him across the face and scolded him, saying, "I'll make sure you don't get to go to Egypt." More than 10 years later, Lin Qingxuan traveled the world for the first time and went to Egypt first, and wrote a postcard to his father in front of the pyramids, which read, "I have always thought that my life should not be guaranteed by others." Delighted, Lin's father said, "A slap in the face sent him to Egypt."
"When I was a kid, I still wanted a beautiful woman for a wife. Junior high school and classmates skipped class to see "Roman Holiday", see Hepburn surprised as a lady. Because peasant children used to see gray-headed women, at that time we swore to God that in the future one of us must marry a Hepburn-type beauty, but years later at a class reunion we found that none of our classmates' wives looked like Hepburn." Lin Qingxuan talked about the youthful frivolity, still meaningful, "had lived with the heart of seeking death, forced to transcend, but also took the initiative to transcend, no matter whether the dream is realized or not, there is a dream is always the most beautiful."
Doors and windows within happiness
On the dream that cannot be realized, Lin Qingxuan's epiphany is two doses of coolness: "Happy to live in the present, and to do one's best is perfect."
The realization of life in everything in the present moment allowed little Qingxuan to grow up happily in a difficult environment. When he was a child, he had to go to the woods to sweep up fallen leaves at his father's request. Day after day, it was incredibly hard work. One day, his father joked, "Why don't you shake down tomorrow's leaves and sweep them together?" Lin Qingxuan joyfully went to shake the tree, full of hope to be lazy. But the next day was again full of piles of yellow leaves. After shaking dozens of trees to death, one day he was enlightened and full of joy: "Sweep today's leaves today, tomorrow's leaves won't fall today, don't worry about tomorrow, try hard to live in this moment today.
Many years later, Lin Ching-hsien's audiobook, "Opening the Doors and Windows of the Heart," spoke of the wonderful realization of "living in the present moment." The book set a sales record of 500 million yuan in Taiwan, and his book "Settling the Mind and Body" sold a record 150 editions.
Living in the present and meditating on the world has also enabled Lin to be more attentive to the world. When he was a senior in high school, he once climbed over the wall in the middle of the night to eat noodles outside the school, and was caught red-handed by Zheng Rengui, the headmaster of the training center. Mr. Zheng, who was known as "Dead Man's Noodle", "almost treated each other as wild dogs when he beat them", scolded the seven people who had climbed over the wall, and beat each of them heavily on the palms of their hands, and then finally hit Lin Qingxuan's hand, and even broke the stick with too much force. Mr. Zheng exclaimed, "I'll spare you today, if you indulge like you do, if you can get into college, I'll chop off my own head for you to sit on as a chair." Watching him walk away, Lin Qingxuan wanted to punch Mr. Zheng to death. But "Dead Man's Face" had a strange catchphrase: "In a few years you will realize that I beat you all for your own good." As it turned out, six of the seven punched went on to college.
Many years later, Lin Ching-hsien, in his article "The Stick and the Wide Long Tongue," opened the doors and windows of his mind to realize the truth of the human world: "For many years I have sympathized with those who are the most mischievous, pitiful, despicable, and socially inadmissible, and I have often remembered my teacher's words: "In this world, caring is the most powerful thing. "
Searching for the homeland of the heart
"Every time I make a shift, I always usher in a lot of uncomprehending gazes, sometimes even cross-eyed. But being thankful for good times and bad makes you embrace the world with a soft heart. A soft heart is the most powerful." Lin Qingxuan's tone is both strong and soft.
Lin Qingxuan has been publishing since he was 17 years old. Faced with a one-in-ten entrance examination for higher education, Lin's interest was directed by his heart: "I was very sure of what I wanted. I wanted to write no matter what, and I took it as the best consolation for my heavy school work, but of course the money was a big attraction."
After eventually enrolling in the film section of the Taiwan Journalism College, Lin Ching-hsien took only the editing and directing classes he liked. Usually busy with creative writing, he released his first book, "The Lotus Blossoms and Falls," at the age of 20. At that time, he also wrote dozens of screenplays such as Spring Fire and Earth Warrior, which became little known under the great aura of his prose. When he graduated, he turned to journalism to support his writing career.
Lin Ching-hsien was a reporter for the overseas edition of one of Taiwan's largest newspapers, the China Times, an economic reporter for the Business Times, and editor-in-chief of the Times Magazine. He was a very successful newspaper man in his prime, and was about to embark on the enviable post of newspaper president and publisher, but he asked himself over and over again, "Has the flower of writing withered away? You can't forget the ambition of your youth." At the age of 31, he resigned to become a freelance writer, which triggered a very tearful discussion in the newspaper industry at the time.
In fact, Lin Qingxuan's transformation has deep roots. He insists on penning more than 3,000 words a day and gives more than 200 speeches a year, making him the most prolific writer in Taiwan. He had won every literary award in Taiwan by the age of 30.
In his prime, he transformed again. "Despite having been a first-class director of a newspaper and winning every literary award, I always felt the feeling of emptiness plaguing me, feeling that the best things had not been written, and that's when I came across India's Upanishads, which contains a passage that says: "When a man reaches the age of 30, he has to spend all his time in realizing, and not to do so is a step on the road to death of the path." It made me break out in a cold sweat. Lin Qingxuan turned to Buddhism to seek the true meaning of relieving the spiritual suffering of modern people, and to share the "joy of the Dharma" with the world with his skillful writing. Books such as Searching for the Hometown of the Soul allowed Lin to help some confused young people find their "spiritual home" and "light of hope". The books "Walking in the Garden of Life" and "Toward the Place of Light" have earned Lin Qingxuan the reputation of a "spiritual teacher".
The successful "moral model", "life coach" Lin Ching-hsien in Taiwan often held public speeches, but also founded the Lin Ching-hsien Education and Culture Foundation to help the world better growth and life. However, two years ago, he changed his mind once again and resolutely divorced his wife of many years to form a new and happy family. The move caused a strong reaction in Taiwanese society, with verbal attacks and some women's organizations even burning Lin Ching-hsien's books.
When a reporter asked a straightforward question about this embarrassment, Lin Ching-hsien said sincerely and frankly: "Marriage changes from karmic changes, there is no way to control, marriage can sometimes be a spiteful order, the average person divorced others will not be concerned, many celebrities are subjugated to the pressure of the community, living in pain. And I am faithful to my own emotions, when there is a major choice for life, even against the whole social pressure." The gentle and elegant Lin Qingxuan shows a strong personality.
For those who malign his transformation, Lin Qingxuan smiles blandly: "They give me a mirror and they reveal themselves. Any success is not easy to come by. From my youth until now, I have never stopped writing every day, and this is the reason for my success, and those who attacked me were not able to match my level of effort.
Preserving an independent view of embodied life is not about being alone. Lin Qingxuan pursues the unity of heaven and man with his writing and behavior.
The river that flies over the desert
"Life is so beautiful that we are advised to take more deep breaths, experience the freshness of the air, and savor the beauty of things. When I drink water, I always think that this may be the most delicious water I have ever drank, always keep a kind of love, learn to appreciate beauty, only love and beauty is the home of the soul.
"How can young people be truly successful and happy?"
Lin Ching-hsien's answer was plain and quick: "First of all young people must understand their own nature, let it reveal itself, discover their own interests, and then work hard at them. No kind of success is simple." Recounting the old traces of years of hard work and plowing, Lin Ching-hsien emphasized the importance of abandoning form in pursuit of internal wisdom: "I have converted more than 100 masters, and I have learned the wisdom of life from every one of them. Recently, when I went to Lingyin in Hangzhou for the first time, my friend advised me to burn incense, and I said that one heart clove of incense was enough, and the key was enlightenment, and the happiness and pain of life are all enlightenment.
Lin Ching-hsien fondly depicted the scene of the unity of heaven and mankind in his heart: "The river flows into the desert and will dry up, but a cloud drifted by and told the river that you can sublimate into water vapor and fly over the desert. The river in the desert rises up in the air, flies over thousands of mountains, and finally turns into raindrops that merge into the great river and merge into the sea."
Writing prose that rises and falls with the practice of life, Lin Qingxuan transforms the mundane into the magical as he pleases, displaying the demeanor of an Eastern Zen master. Talking about literature, also talking about life, Lin Qingxuan faced with the unmanageable part of life such as birth, old age, sickness and death of the sadness and joy, calmly told a self-written fable to encourage themselves and others: "The writer's boat in the sea in distress, the waves are changing rapidly, then a helicopter flew over, written on it 'fame and fortune', a speedboat, a helicopter, and a helicopter, and a speedboat, and a speedboat. A helicopter flew by with 'Fame and Fortune' written on it, a speedboat sailed by with 'Power' written on it, and when the man of letters was alone, an old man rowed his dinghy to his rescue. The old man handed the scribe over to the truth, and written on the dinghy were two words - time. Only time can prove everything, only the pursuit of truth can truly understand the nature of life and literature, life can truly become better and more moving through the test of time.
