Long before the people of Azeroth celebrated the arrival of summer with colorful flags and maypole pillars, the Black Iron Dwarves had already begun to hold a Flame Celebration. This ceremony was meant to please their master, Ragnaros, King of the Flame.
While the concept spread throughout the world into the lighter and brighter Midsummer Flame Festival we are familiar with today, the bright flames of the celebration still darkly conveyed the power of Ragnaros, only few remembered the festival's darker origins anymore. The Twilightists are one of those very few. In this seemingly innocent festival, they found the opportunity to fulfill their ultimate goal - the destruction of Azeroth.
