Day 1
At 8:30, I lined up at the entrance and exit of Yaohua Road and waited for the entrance. 9:00, I was ready to enter the Expo, and after entering the Expo, I went to the reservation machine at the entrance to make a reservation for the visit of the China Pavilion.
■Morning: Expo Center, Theme Pavilions
The bulk of visitors to the park's various pavilions are on-site reservations. There are 200 reservation machines at the entrances and exits*** of the park, so bring your valid ID and ticket.
After you have made your reservation, you can enter the park and walk along the Expo axis to the end of the Celebration Square, where there is a grand opening ceremony. After that, go to the Expo Center, where the daily opening ceremony for National Pavilion Day is held, and if you're lucky, you'll get to meet a national leader or a big star.
After seeing the Expo Center, you can go to the Theme Pavilion, where there are four pavilions, namely the Urbanist Pavilion, Life Pavilion, Earth Pavilion, and Public Participation Pavilion. After visiting the Theme Pavilion, it is time for lunch. There is a Chinese food street between the Expo Center and the Theme Pavilion, so if you are full, you can go to the Cultural Center to see the free performance of the Oriental Song and Dance Troupe.
■Afternoon: China Pavilion, Provincial and Municipal Pavilions, etc.
After watching the show from the Cultural Center, you can walk towards the China Pavilion, and first see the Taiwan Pavilion, where the LED dome sky lights are a highlight.
The time at this point is about 13:30, go to the China Pavilion and line up. When you enter the venue to take the elevator, the first to come to the 49 meters that floor. Inside there is "Qingming Shanghe Tu", more than 100 meters long it.
Next to the provincial and municipal pavilions, each with 600 square meters of space, each with its own characteristics. Then go to the Macau Pavilion and the Hong Kong Pavilion, in the Macau Pavilion at the top, you can lie on the ground to watch the ceiling playing movies.
After visiting the Chinese pavilion, we returned to the door, do not go out. After a break, go east to the Oman Pavilion, Pakistan Pavilion, Israel Pavilion, and incidentally see the Sri Lankan Pavilion. After seeing the road to the Nepalese pavilion, where there is a thousand years of Buddha's relics. The India Pavilion is next to the Nepal Pavilion. After that you see the Saudi Pavilion, which is the biggest investment among the foreign pavilions.
■Evening: Lebanese Pavilion, Iranian Pavilion, etc.
Then it was time for an evening walk to see the Lebanese Pavilion, Iranian Pavilion, North Korean Pavilion, and Uzbek Pavilion. After seeing them it was time to come to the Kazakhstan Pavilion, which is a self-built pavilion. Across the road there were two venues worth seeing - the Japan Pavilion and the Korea Pavilion. Between them are the Vietnam Pavilion and the United Asia Pavilion, so take a walk. Walk along the Expo Boulevard towards the Cultural Center. If you're lucky, there will be a parade, but if not, don't be sorry, just walk to the Celebration Square and watch the closing ceremony!
Day 2
On the second day of the Expo, we recommend arriving at the park at 8:30 a.m. and entering the park through the Changqing Road gate. The first thing to do when you enter the park is still to make a reservation. It is recommended that you make a reservation for the American, British, Belgian, French, and Swiss Pavilions, and you can choose to make your reservation in the afternoon or in the evening.
■Morning: Thailand Pavilion, Indonesia Pavilion, etc.
The right hand side of the park from the Changqing Road entrance and exit is the Thailand Pavilion. The large building in front of the Thailand Pavilion is the Australia Pavilion, which is worth seeing. On the right hand side of the Australian Pavilion is the Singapore Pavilion, and next to it is the Malaysian Pavilion. After seeing the New Zealand Pavilion, you will be attracted by the beautiful scenery of New Zealand, and the special effects of the pavilion are made by the special effects team of "The Lord of the Rings". When you leave the New Zealand Pavilion, look for the building next to it with a lot of bamboo through the roof, that is the Indonesia Pavilion. From New Zealand Pavilion to Indonesia Pavilion, there is a Cambodia Pavilion. After visiting, you can go to the Joint Pavilion of International Organizations, Brunei Pavilion, and Philippine Pavilion.
Next, please go up to the elevated walkway and walk towards the Huangpu River. When you see the blue UN Pavilion, go down there, that's the United Nations Pavilion, which is a must-see. Next to the World Meteorological Organization Pavilion is the best, that is the only international organization to build its own pavilion, if the weather is good you can see a rainbow outside the venue.
■Afternoon: France Pavilion, U.S. Pavilion, etc.
It should be noon by the time you visit, so please eat and drink.
Cross the road next to the United Nations Pavilion (Changqing Road) and see a rattan basket, that is the Spanish Pavilion, a must see. Next to the leisure plaza at the entrance is the Monaco Pavilion and the Serbian Pavilion, both of which are rental pavilions. On the other side of the leisure plaza is the Belgium-EU Pavilion, you can participate in the quiz about European knowledge, every Monday to Saturday will draw diamonds for you, every Sunday will draw the grand prize to send you to travel to Europe.
Next to the Belgium Pavilion is the Polish Pavilion, which should also be seen. On the side of the Huangpu River, there is a cable car, is the Swiss Pavilion, the Swiss Pavilion facade will flash, it will convert wind and light energy into electricity. Next to the Swiss Pavilion is the French Pavilion, which contains many art treasures, including Rodin's Bronze Age. Next to the French Pavilion and next to the Polish Pavilion is the German Pavilion.
The German Pavilion is followed by the Mexican Pavilion, and then the Canadian Pavilion, where you can see the Cirque du Soleil, which is very exciting. Canada Pavilion past is the Peru Pavilion, there is food. And after that is the Colombia Pavilion and Brazil Pavilion. Then you can go to the U.S. Pavilion, the import has a waterfall and a big screen with a 4D multimedia movie.
■Evening: South Africa Pavilion, UK Pavilion, etc.
At this point, you should have dinner, and the USA Pavilion has a restaurant. After seeing the US Pavilion go to the Russian Pavilion, a fairy tale world with 12 petal towers. Then see a cut green apple, go inside and watch a movie, that's the Romania pavilion. Then there is the Italian Pavilion, and to the side is the British Pavilion, which is small but really beautiful, with tens of thousands of glowing tentacles swaying in the wind. Finally, end the day at the United Africa Pavilion, which has an African bazaar.
Day 3
Many people think that the pavilions in Puxi are not the main focus, but in fact the corporate pavilions have played an important role in the Expo, giving an insight into the efforts of countries to improve the quality of life in their cities.
■Morning: urban best practice areas and more
On the third day, you'll still want to be at the entrance to the park at 8:30am. Take rail line 8 and get off at the South Xizang Road station, which is the largest entrance and exit of the Puxi Expo Park.
The first thing you'll see is the Jiangnan Shipbuilding Museum, a converted old factory building. When you come out, walk towards Nanpu Bridge and go to the China Private Enterprises Joint Pavilion first. Then go to the Urban Best Practice Area. After seeing the footbridge, you can go up, and near the Zhongshan South Road side is the most wonderful northern construction case area of the Urban Best Practice Area. There's the Shanghai Eco Home, a century-old pawnshop in Macau, and up there is the Jin Yong Library. On the foreign side, we recommend going to London's Zero Carbon Pavilion, the tent city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and the bamboo house in Madrid.
After seeing these, everyone re-crosses the footbridge to go to the southern neighborhood, where you'll see a plaza called World City Plaza, where you can cool off under a tent if you're tired of walking. It's noon, and the restaurant on the side of the Future Pavilion near the footbridge is the biggest in Puxi.
■Afternoon: Aviation Pavilion, Railroad Pavilion and more
The first stop in the afternoon is the Future Pavilion, where you'll be told about the future of our city life. Then retrace your steps towards the Enterprise Pavilion, this time visiting the China Aviation Pavilion, the Information and Communication Pavilion, and the SAIC Pavilion.
Afterward you can watch a show at the Expo Square and frolic around the old dockyard of the former Jiangnan Shipyard. You can also check out the Railroad Pavilion.
■Evening: Coca-Cola Pavilion and more
Jiangnan Park is available for you to rest and eat. In the evening, you can visit the Coca-Cola Pavilion, where the building is a big Coke bottle. Next to it, the Space Home Pavilion exhibits state-of-the-art space technology. Then go to the State Grid Pavilion, come out and look up at the big screen of the Petroleum Pavilion. Near the Huangpu River is the Korean Enterprise Joint Pavilion, which is recommended to take photos.
Finally, everyone can learn about the 160-year history of the Expo by visiting the Expo Museum. And after that, you can leave the park through the Luban Road exit, which is the Lupu Bridge, where you can find a variety of transportation to go home.
