Visiting Dagang Oilfield

A team of Yang, a row of willow,

Yang song and willow dance beside me.

The green shade hangs like silk between the trees,

and the white clouds in the sky look like sails.

The road is as straight as a gallery,

and the trucks are flying.

The roadside farmland, the green dance,

red sorghum yellow grain.

A good view in front of us,

The students cheered to the big harbor.

The first thing you need to do is to get your hands on some of the most popular products and services in the world.

The oil tanks are thick and red,

and the oil pipelines rise up in the air.

The oil fields are boundless, the world is wide,

and the torches are red and colorful.

The flame of the workers,

The treasure of billions of years has been awakened.

The spirit of the Iron Man is in my heart,

and my spirit is high in the battlefield.

Sweating and sweating to create a high yield,

crude oil rolls like a fountain.

Like a fountain, like a fountain,

the whole of God's country is a garden.

The working class is powerful,

and the country is strong in self-reliance.

The train of the times moves forward,

and the great ideals are realized.

Afterword: This poem was written in the summer vacation of 1975, after the school organized a visit to the Dagang oil field. Although the writing is very young, but has a very strong era characteristics. 47 years in a snap of the fingers, the sky has changed, but the memory of youth is still vivid.
