The Black Duck Singing Group was founded in 1992, and is composed of graduates from the Central Conservatory of Music, one of the earliest harmony groups in China. At first, its official members were Li Rong, Lu Lili, Guo Qi (who joined after Lu Lili went abroad) and Xu Xiuxia. Now its members are Guo Qi, Li Wei and Ni Yafeng.
