Album Description:

The song "Please Come to the Ends of the Earth" is the first original popular song with national influence in Guangdong pop music scene. It not only let the singer Shen Xiaozen from an obscure construction workers into a hot star, and for Hainan Island to do three-dimensional advertising, so that the people of Hainan still remember, and become a deserved "spokesman" for Hainan tourism.

Shen Xiaozen 1982 recording "please come to the end of the world" is actually "crooked". At that time, the most popular songs on the mainland were either Taiwanese school ballads or foreign movie interludes. Most of the songs on the album "New Talent Shen Xiaozen" were English covers. "I sang all the songs I knew, and there weren't enough to record a cassette, so the staff temporarily found a song called 'Please Come to the Ends of the Earth' for me to sing, and at the time I didn't think it matched the style of the whole cassette." Shen Xiaozen remembers a bit about recording the song back then, "I didn't take it seriously, so I sang it with ease. The song had already been sung at the time, but the response was mediocre. I never imagined that the next day after I sang it at the second Lark Awards, it was playing on the streets of Guangzhou." Please Come to the Ends of the Earth" became her masterpiece. As a result, Shen Xiaozen participated in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 1984, and her voice quickly spread throughout the country. She then won the "China's First Golden Record Award" and "China's Top Ten Singers" and other awards.

Two years ago, she returned to Guangzhou to record and release an audiophile album called "Beyond the Ends of the Earth" with her years of musical accumulation. Shen Xiaozen, however, said it was almost impossible to surpass the achievements of "Please Come to the Ends of the Earth" back then.
