Drama

The film is presented using a combination of animation and real-life filming.

When the classic Disney fairy tale world meets modern New York City ...... For the beautiful and lovely Princess Giselle, born in the animated country of Andalasia, she lives a life as beautiful as a fairy tale. Giselle has everything a perfect princess should have: beautiful looks, a pure and flawless heart, a beautiful voice, and a strange ability to communicate with small animals. Like all princesses, she looks forward to the day when she can share the sweetest first kiss with her true love.

Fortunately, Giselle, who has everything, also has the good fortune that no one can match, and her wish became a wonderful reality after she met Prince Edward, a handsome and spontaneous warrior who found her in the forest through Giselle's happy singing. ...... When they met, they knew that true love was standing right in front of them, although they only met each other. Although they had only known each other for a day, Giselle had already made a lifelong vow with Edward, inviting them to marry the next day.

However, on the way to the wedding, Giselle encounters an obstacle when she encounters the evil Queen Narissa, a jealous witch who, unable to tolerate Giselle, who threatens her throne, disguises herself as an old beggar woman and pushes Giselle into a bottomless fountain....... The kindly fairy creates by magic a Reverse time and space vortex, through the vortex Giselle surprisingly came to a place far away from the fairy tale, where it is no longer a colorful music country, and even less animated characters. Giselle herself becomes a real woman, appearing in a world that could never believe in the existence of magic - Manhattan.

In this wholly unfamiliar environment, Robert, a serious and practical divorce attorney, and his young daughter, Morgan, reach out to the innocent, princess-dress-wearing girl and offer her a temporary place to stay. Meanwhile, Giselle's Prince Charming rushes through a magical vortex to save his beloved in the real world, along with Edward, his servant Nathaniel and Giselle's best friend, a chipmunk named Pip. Although reality is cold and cruel, Giselle infects everyone around her with her boundless enthusiasm and joy. After experiencing the impact and collision of two completely different worlds, what Giselle most wants to know is whether the fairy tale "Prince and Princess live happily ever after" can still exist in the real world. In the real world, is it still possible to exist?

RELATED REVIEWS

A surprisingly romantic love story that satirizes the classic fairy tales with a refreshingly straightforward air.

Film Review

The fairy tale cliché has been brought to the screen again, and for many years, people still can't jump out of the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale route, in which there must be a beautiful princess, a handsome prince, an evil queen, a prince and a princess who love each other at first sight, but the queen blocks them from seeing each other. And then give the audience a happy ending this film on this routine and dug out a combination of cartoon and reality gimmick but also still the same thing but so the fairy tale idealization of the world view and the reality of people's utilitarian ideology of the film in the specific head-on collision has also become a major attraction of the film whether you can deal with this key dramatic contradiction has become an important factor in determining the success of the film, and this not only the director to properly control the overall situation also need actors Deep understanding and expression can be said that both for the hibernation of seven years for the first time comeback director Kevin Lima also just started the career leap Amy Adams this film is a significant test and examination.

When the fairy tale meets reality

For screenwriter Bill Kelly (Bill Kelly), the reason why he wanted to create such a novel story, began in a fictional world that exists only in the imagination - a fairy tale, where people from the innocence of people, how to continue to survive in the world of modern society? Kelly said, "We first came up with a similar 'hypothesis' and then tried to develop a complete story from it, yet always encountered insurmountable hurdles due to the lack of believability in the establishment of the characters. Until one day, a completely new idea popped up: wouldn't everything be solved if our protagonist initially existed only in the fairy tale world as an animated character." Because of the unique creativity of the script itself, as soon as it was completed, it was bought by producers Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld, who took it to Disney, where Josephson: "Kelly's story loses a lot of its fun without Disney's assistance from the sidelines, and when it comes to fairytales, what better distributor than Disney? Disney, is there a more authoritative distributor of fairy tales? Bringing the princesses of traditional hand-drawn animation into modern life is alone enough to keep me hooked."

Disney director Kevin Lima was enamored of "Enchanted Wonderland" for the same reason, having previously directed "102 Real Dogs," "Tarzan of the Apes" and "The Ultimate Fool," both live-action and animated efforts. The movie's success is a testament to Lima's mastery and appreciation of those classic stories, while at the same time, he doesn't miss any of the excellence that keeps its appeal.

Director Kevin Lima's past work has not been extensive, but the films he has worked on have all focused on the animated genre, and his breakout film, "Tarzan," made a name for himself in Hollywood in '99, plus his background in writing two Oscar-winning animated films for "Aladdin's Lamp," has created a lot of anticipation for this venture. However, upon closer examination, it's easy to see that neither of these two huge awards seem to have anything to do with Kevin Lima. Tarzan of the Apes won Best Original Score at the Oscars for Phil Collins' song "You'll Be in My Heart" (the Chinese version of which is sung by Zhou Huajian, who sang "Inside Your Heart"), and Aladdin's Lamp got a little bit of music gold as well! Aladdin's Lamp" also got a little gold for music -- Best Score and Best Original Score -- so the Oscars' director and screenwriter resumes don't look like much of a claptrap, and Kevin Lima's "102 Dalmatians" in 2000 was a real setback, too.

Producer Barry Josephson soon hooked up with Kevin Lima for a sit-down to discuss the production and shooting of the movie, Josephson says: "It was the first time we really met, but I learned as quickly as I could that Lima had a very well-developed and amazing imagination for the story, and that it would definitely help this already excellent script to make it to the big screen. It's definitely going to help this already great script work on the big screen." Lima agrees, "The first thing I thought when I read the script was that it was really too good for me and I couldn't miss it. I started out in the movie business as an animator and designer, and then became the director of two animated films, and I knew in my heart just how much I loved that fictional world."

When Kevin Lima approached screenwriter Bill Kelly to talk freely about his understanding of the story as a whole, they found that the two men stayed in surprising agreement on many points. Lima even offered suggestions to help bring the two worlds in the script -- animation and reality -- together in a tighter way. Lima said that if he wanted to highlight the beauty of the fairy tale world more clearly, he should have chosen the real world to be in the most most hastily-improved New York City, where people are highly repressed and have no connection to happiness ...... Even Christopher Chase, another producer, couldn't help but praise Lima: "Just by virtue of his knowledge of Disney animation, I knew that any worries were actually redundant."

About the story

To bring a story that jumps back and forth between two juxtaposed worlds to the big screen required Kevin Lima to take his creativity to the next level, saying, "The beginning of the movie is really just traditional Disney animation, where I've taken a number of classic fairy tales and I've compressed them, and I've taken the essence of them, and it's rich and enduring. I've compressed and distilled a number of classic fairy tales and taken the essence of them, which is rich and intriguing. In the first 10 minutes, you can see all the most iconic elements of Disney's fairy tales, and then the real story begins. ...... So, 'Enchanted Fantasy' should technically be considered a live-action movie, because the characters from the animated world are transformed into real people - a transformation that represents the core of the movie, and the main character's ongoing struggle to become a real person. core content and the source of the conflict that the protagonists have been struggling with."

Bill Kelly seemed very comfortable leaving the script in the sole hands of Kevin Lima, saying, "The movie will reintroduce classic Disney animated characters in an even better way. It's fair to say that growing up, Disney animation brought us countless hours of fun, and the characters and themes became almost everyone's fondest childhood hope. Then we take those hopelessly na?ve characters and put them into the mercenary real world, and all we really need to address is to find an intervening balance between these two worlds that are worlds apart." Lima goes on to say, "The worldliness of modern society is completely at odds with the innocence of the fairy tale world, and Princess Giselle in the movie arrives in our world with a babyish innocence, struggling to accept everything and embracing life with a smile. Her unwarranted joy infects everyone around her, unconsciously mesmerized by her."

Giselle belongs to a combination of multiple characters, you can see Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and the Little Mermaid in her, and when words are not enough to express her feelings at that moment, she replaces them with songs. ...... In the fairytale land of Andalasia, the prince is equally fond of using songs to describe their feelings, and they seem to have been looking for a female who could sing in counterpoint to them and marry them. So when Prince Edward hears Giselle's song, he is practically desperate to follow the sound all the way there. Unfortunately, the trolls got there before him, so it was a nasty fight for Edward to win the princess's heart.

True love always has to take some twists and turns to get what it wants, and this time, evil got its truest expression through Queen Nalissa, who didn't want her son Edward to marry because, according to the laws of the land, the prince's wife would take over as queen. Nalissa transformed herself into an old beggar woman, tricked Giselle into leaning into the Wishing Fountain, and then pushed the would-be bride into the spring....... After passing through a vortex formed by the fairy's magic, Giselle was transformed into a real woman and crawled up from a sewer into the heart of Manhattan.

Giselle has an unforeseen encounter with a misanthropic New York divorce attorney, Robert Philip, and his shy young daughter, Morgan. At Morgan's pleading, they take Giselle in temporarily ...... This becomes a major pivotal point in everything that happens subsequently, not only making Giselle's experience more and more real, but even Robert slowly comes to terms with the rare innocence and carefree nature of this Loudoun's world. Kevin Lima says, "Robert doesn't believe a word of the fairy tale 'happily ever after' or 'true love'; he's a father whose wife left him years ago, and he's did everything he could to raise his daughter, only to grow increasingly delusional in the harshness of real life. So, he's always been very practical until he meets Giselle, subliminally influenced by her unexplained joy and innocence, Giselle believes that 'True Love's Kiss' is waiting for you somewhere, and that once you've found him, you can't help but sing happily as you ****-dance with him, and then finally share that special kiss - a belief that is exclusively hers and the original impetus that drives the story forward."

About the Cast

Italian actress Amy Adams was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as Ashley in June Bug in 2005, although she lost out to the British beauty Rachel Weisz, but Amy Adams has risen through the ranks to become one of the top actresses in Hollywood. The movie is also the first time that Amy Adams has played the role of No. 1 female in a commercial masterpiece.

On the soundtrack

In contrast, the most luxurious of the movie's lineup seems to fall on the soundtrack, which features Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz in a two-pronged total of **** with 14 Oscar nominations, 11 gold medals, and the "music Oscars" (the "Grammy Awards"). "Grammy Awards in five trophies and eight nominations in the remarkable record can definitely be called the biggest name in the cast of the two brothers this time, after twelve years ago, "Pocahontas" (Pocahontas) cooperation in the triumph of the two brothers renewed the former relationship to reorganize the golden gun line believe that regardless of the quality of the film how the film's soundtrack is definitely worth looking forward to, and next year's Oscars banquet will also certainly not be without the two of them! The movie will be a great success.

Alan.Menken.-. [Enchanted] Music for Enchanted

Album Description

Alan Menken hasn't done anything very impressive in the last couple of years, with 2005's soundtrack for the game Kingdom Hearts 2 being little more than a rewrite of a classic track, and 2006's The Shaggy Dog being mediocre. Finally, this time Alan is back with the wonderful Enchanted Love Affair Enchanted.

The lack of good work actually has a lot to do with Disney's weakness over the past few years, which has brought a lot of good work since this year's big change of heart in Disney's determination to revitalize the franchise. "Enchanted Enchanted," which opens in theaters in November, is one of them. The movie uses a combination of animation and reality shooting presentation. In the animated fairy tale world, the princess falls in love with a handsome prince, who also admires the beauty of the princess, and their love grows stronger, but it causes great discontent with the prince's mother, the evil queen. The Queen, who wants to control everything, of course, will not allow her son to be possessed by another woman, and her perverted desire strengthens her power, and the result is an irreversible conquest. With a wave of her hand, the Princess is banished from the fairytale world to the modern city of New York. From there, the movie moves to live action. Instead of the innocence of the fairy tale world, the realities of materialism, hypocrisy, and glamor swarm over the princess. The princess is lost and helpless in the unfamiliar environment, and at this time a graceful lawyer lends her a helping hand. Princess in reality also did not have the fairy tale to the death will not be cured of love, in the relationship with the lawyer can not help but to him in the heart. But is the fairy tale romance still viable in reality? This is the biggest question in the heart of the princess. With this doubt, the princess begins a long quest on earth. On the other hand, the prince is also struggling to find the princess. Thus, fairy tale and reality, betrayal and perseverance, ideal and reality, true love and floating joy intertwine to create a unique magic wonderland...

The soundtrack also showcases Alan's ability to direct Disney's romantic animation soundtracks, such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Pocahontas, all of which are familiar works. This time, "The Enchanted Affair" is a bit clichéd in terms of story, but Disney's classic is not long here. The beautiful melodies, the soundtrack that mixes action, comedy and fantasy, and the beautiful theme song once again bring us into the magical world of Disney's fairy tale.

The Sweeps zip package includes all the sweeps in large format as well as the CUE files.
