Yan Ziling (37-43 BC), also known as Zi Ling. Yuyao people in the late Western Han Dynasty. When I was a teenager, I went to study abroad. I am diligent, knowledgeable and versatile, and my character is honest and frank. At school, Liu Xiu from Nanyang and I are classmates. The two talked about the Austrian mission during the day and slept at night, forming a deep friendship. At that time, due to the corruption of the imperial court, Wang Mang usurped the throne, and the red eyebrows and green forests rebelled one after another.
Yan Ziling saw the chaos in the world and returned to Yuyao, where he could not live in seclusion. Later, Liu Xiu unified the world and became an emperor, that is, Guangwudi, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Knowing Yan Ziling's talent, Emperor Guangwu sent someone to look for him. He was found fishing in the lake in a fur coat. Emperor Guangwu hurriedly sent messengers, prepared splendid chariots and horses, and invited him to be an official in the DPRK. But it was rejected three times in a row.
One day, Emperor Guangwu invited him to the palace, had a heart-to-heart talk and asked him how to govern the country. Yan Ziling is eloquent. Guangwudi was very happy to hear his theory about ancient and modern times and his reasoning was incisive. The two talked until late at night, and Emperor Guangwu left him to sleep in the same bed. Yan Ziling didn't refuse, lying on the imperial bed, spread his legs and fell asleep. Sleeping until midnight, I gave the emperor a leg. Guangwudi didn't sleep well all night in order not to disturb him.
The next morning, when Yan Ziling was still sleeping, Emperor Guangwu got up. I saw eunuch Qin Tian rushing into the palace gate in a panic and saying, "I looked up at the astronomical phenomena last night and found a guest star attacking the throne. I'm afraid it's not good for viva. I am here to report. "
Emperor Guangwu pondered for a moment, then suddenly realized, and laughed: "What guest star? Last night, my friend Zi Ling and I slept in the same bed, and his legs were on me. "
Since then, Yan Ziling, a "guest star", has become famous all over the world. Chen Shan, the mountain in his hometown is called "Kexing Mountain" and the bridge is called "Kexing Bridge". Today, the inscription of Yan Ziling in Yuyao Sibeiting still contains the sentence "The guest star on the city wall is still high".
Guangwudi appreciated Yan Ziling's character and talent and asked him to be a remonstrator. This is a high position, but he still refuses to accept it. Later, I simply left without saying goodbye and went back to my hometown Yuyao to live in seclusion.
In the seventeenth year of Jianwu, Emperor Guangwu sent messengers to Yuyao and invited Yan Ziling to be an official in Beijing. When he heard the news, he quickly hid and the messenger had to return. In order to avoid any trouble in the imperial court, he simply took his family and moved to the Fuchun River in Tonglu to farm and fish. The place where he fished was later called Zi Ling Beach. "Yan Ziling Diaoyutai" has been preserved to this day. Yan Ziling returned to Yuyao until he died at the age of eighty and was buried in Chen Shan, Yuyao. Shi Haoyou, the prime minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, wrote in the poem "Mr. Yan's Tomb": "The jade box dragon has come to the grass, and a tall horse is still proud; If Yuntai is also famous, who knows that there are fishing platforms throughout the ages. " Chen Shi's poem "Yan Tomb" also wrote: "The mountain is high and the stone is strange and cold, and the three-foot solitary tomb is a guest star; Think of Lingyuan pine and cypress, and know who misty rain is. "
Yan Ziling's honesty, regarding wealth as floating clouds, has been respected by people for thousands of years. Fan Zhongyan, a famous minister in the Northern Song Dynasty, admired Gao Jie of Yan Ziling and built a ancestral temple for him, and wrote the immortal Monument to Mr. Yan, praising him for his "green mountains, boundless rivers and seas, and long mountains and high waters." Xu Wei, a famous scholar in the Ming Dynasty, wrote in the poem "Mr. Yan's Ci": "Clear water reflects the place, and high traces can be found. I don't know that the son of heaven is expensive, but I know my heart. Mountain fog scattered Chun Xue, river wind scattered dusk forest. If you hear running water, who will listen to Boya's piano? "
