2. When Su Dongpo was an official, he did something strange:
A merchant was tried for debt. The defendant was a young man, and Su Dongpo asked him to explain his plight.

The man went back and brought twenty fans of plain silk in the twinkling of an eye. Su Dongpo picked up the pen on the table, began to write cursive on the fan, drawing a few winter dead trees, thin bamboo rocks. About an hour's work, the ten fans finished painting, handed the fan to the young man, said: "Take it to pay off the bill."

He just walked out of the government office, a lot of people surrounded him, scrambling to take a thousand money to buy him a fan, not a few minutes, the fan sold out, come a step late, only sigh in vain.
3. Once, a scholar from the countryside to the capital to catch the examination, because there is a suspicion of fraud and arrested. The scholar was carrying two large pieces of luggage, written on the top of the handover of Kyoto Jukan Lane Su Squire Ziyu, the bottom of the name Su Dongpo. It was clearly fraud.

Su Dongpo smiled faintly and instructed the clerk to tear off the old note on the luggage and personally write the name and address of the recipient and sender. The poor old scholar was amazed and grateful. He was indeed successful in the examination. When he returned home, he wrote a letter to Dong Po, the poet, thanking him for his kindness. Su Dongpo was very happy about this strange encounter. He invited him to stay at home for a few days.
4.
