Not only that, pho99 is also well done in details. The menu has been designed in the form of a magazine, which also makes for excellent props if you want to pose for a photo. Looking through it, the store serves a very homogenous assortment. However, this is also related to the Vietnamese cuisine itself. pho99 is divided into four categories: noodles, sandwiches, snacks and drinks, and the variation is mainly in the ingredients used within each category. So, personally, I think it is more suitable to cope with the needs of simple meals, as well as small sisters chatting with the choice.
Locomotive River Noodles
"Locomotive. What is it? Legend has it that this dish is the national food of Vietnam, but any well-done locomotive river noodles, diners can queue up long. Just like a train. So there is a locomotive river noodle reputation. This locomotive river noodle is full of ingredients and the soup is clear. The only drawback is that the bowl is a little too small.
Vietnamese specialty sandwiches
This is a legacy of French colonization, which, like coffee drinking, has been integrated into Vietnamese daily life. In Saigon, baguette sandwiches are found in street stalls and stores along the streets, with irregular combinations of matches that make for new surprises every time you try them. But it's a little different from a real baguette, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a milky flavor that spills out when you bite into it, making you savor the taste. At the same time, it meets the meaty flavor of the roast, and the combination of the two satisfies my appetite.
Fresh Shrimp Meat Roll
This is actually a Vietnamese spring roll. The difference with domestic spring rolls is that the outer skin is wrapped with rice skin made from rice milling, so it presents a transparent texture and the ingredients wrapped inside are visible. It is important to note that the Vietnamese spring rolls are large in size and have a lot of ingredients. Take pho99's for example, one spring roll is wrapped with three prawns and stuffed full of flour, making it a solid meal. It's lighter in flavor and can be eaten with the two sauces that come with it.
Full Meal Rice Vermicelli
Vietnamese vermicelli became popular around the time of the French colonization, and is roughly divided into three genres: Hanoi (north), Hue (central), and Saigon (south). So this rice noodle is not the same noodle as train noodle. The whole meal rice noodle is mixed and is a fine soft small round noodle which is more elastic. The overall feel is very much like Vietnamese spring rolls. The same noodle is also cold with all the additions. Overall a very refreshing choice.
Papaya Salad
The green papaya was spread in a full layer and tasted crisp. But at the same time, it was also a little astringent, not a texture I love. Continuing to the bottom, the spiciness grew. However, the refreshing feeling is the same as always.
