So far, there have been four stage plays in the Porky Pig series. They are the first "Porky Pig's Angel Encounter", the second "Porky Pig's Magic Forest", the third "Porky Pig's Legend of the Fairy Bean", and the fourth Porky Pig's "Where Does the Time Go".
How can I say this, I've only seen the first one, and I thought it was okay and good for kids to watch. It is worth mentioning that this is a large-scale puppet theater adapted from the Porky Pig movie, the use of film stereo music throughout the scene is the first case in China. The Angel Adventure" maintains the original dubbing, gorgeous and dreamy choreography, and combines modern sound and light effects with the performance of first-class actors. And the show was screened at the Mei Lanfang Theater.
The play maintains the consistent humor of the Piggy Man series, with many laughs, and is rich in education, spectacle, entertainment and participation. Incorporating a variety of elements such as dance, magic, music, drama, etc., the show renders a vivid, twisted, fascinating and hilarious story in sometimes real and sometimes marvelous illusions, happily bringing children into a magical, beautiful fairy tale kingdom.
The play shows the beauty, ugliness, goodness and evil of human nature to everyone in the form of children's delight, unique visual effects, hilarious action language and simple and easy-to-understand performances, interpreting a brand-new spiritual and cultural needs, and it is a bold innovation of the modern puppet theater.
