Approaching Tiananmen Square, strolling by the twelve fan-shaped fountains in front of the tower and looking up at the five-star red flag flying on the tower, I feel that Tiananmen Square is like a mighty and kind old marshal, respectable and amiable.
On both sides of the square, 56 tall and towering national columns stand proudly, representing the harmony and unity of 56 ethnic groups, and representing the unity of 56 ethnic groups to support a prosperous China. Dressed up with flower beds and ethnic columns, it sets off the grandeur of Tiananmen Square.
