There is a king of mushroom cultivation in Meiling village. Since 1987 became attached to mushrooms, it has been engaged in mushroom production. Now he has a mushroom planting base of 2,000 square meters, with an annual net income of more than 20,000 yuan. He is Wei, a 39-year-old young farmer.
There are five people in the Wei family. He and his wife are engaged in mushroom cultivation. 1987 with the support of the county reservoir office, Wei, then 25, began to grow mushrooms for the first time. At the beginning of the reform and opening up, many people didn't understand what crops and mushrooms were planted in the field, but Wei kept on. With the help of the technical teacher, we strictly follow the technical operation and are not afraid of hard work. After 100 days' efforts, the first batch of mushrooms were snapped up by foreign merchants immediately after they went on the market, and the income was nearly 10 times that of rice planting. After the success of the first step, Wei was full of confidence and embarked on the road of growing mushrooms and getting rich without hesitation. 10 For many years, Wei has gone out to study for countless times. His variety has increased from one mushroom to six or seven kinds of Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes, and the mushroom house has also changed from an earthen house to a spacious greenhouse. At the end of 1999, he invested 15000 yuan at one time to build three plastic greenhouses, which made his aquaculture industry go up a step.
After mushroom cultivation was on the right track, Wei focused on the market research. According to the needs of people's living standards, he constantly updated varieties, selected more hygienic raw materials, and actively provided market conditions for villagers who planted mushrooms. With his help, more than a dozen farmers nearby have also embarked on the road of growing mushrooms to get rich, and everyone sincerely calls him the king of mushrooms.
Cheng deju, a big sericulture family
Cheng Deju, a professional sericulture household, is female and lives in Nianfan Village, Wangwan Village, Wanfohu Town. She is 46 years old and has a junior high school education. She has five family members. Since 1989, this comrade has never stopped raising silkworms and has not reduced the number with the fluctuation of cocoon market price. He still insists on raising silkworms twice a year, and at most (spring, Mid-Autumn Festival and late autumn), he raises more than 0/0 silkworms, with an annual net income of 6,000 yuan.
What motivates her to stick to it? It is a keen insight into sericulture, a keen market and rich experience and technology in sericulture. After 1996, the price of cocoon once fell to about 4.00 yuan per kilogram, causing large-scale mulberry destruction. Most farmers think that such a low price is not as good as planting traditional crops, but Cheng Daju thinks so. She believes that cocoon prices will not bottom out for several years, and will definitely rebound after the crisis; Cocoon production in China is not over-developed, but in short supply. When neighbors destroyed mulberry trees on a large scale, she mobilized everyone to look farther. The reserve price is only temporary. When the price rises, sericulture production will be difficult to develop. Judging from the market in recent years, her efforts have been rewarded. Mulberry orchards with 3 mu of land are growing well, and at the same time, more and more sericulture techniques and experiences have been accumulated, especially in pest control, which has solved the problem that silkworms are prone to get sick. Planting mulberry and sericulture also made Cheng Daju embark on the road to prosperity, but the building has already been built and household appliances are readily available.
