Such gatherings can be traced back to ancient times, as early as the fifth century A.D., Persia organized the first exhibition that transcended the function of a bazaar. At the end of the 18th century, people gradually thought of organizing exhibitions similar to bazaars, but only exhibition but not sales. The modern sense of the World Expo was born in the middle of the 19th century when the industrial revolution was in its infancy. So far, the World Expo has been held more than 40 times, mainly through four stages of development.
[Edit Paragraph]History and Origin of World Expo
◆The Origin of World Expo
In the ancient agrarian societies, people often started trading activities in the festivals for celebrating harvests, religious ceremonies, and joyful celebrations, and then it gradually developed into a large-scale trade and exhibition gathering on a regular basis, with a fixed place for exchanging goods. This is the earliest form of the World's Fair.
In the 5th century AD, Persia organized the first fair that surpassed the function of a bazaar.
In the 18th century, with the emergence of new technologies and new products, people gradually thought of organizing a fair similar to the market, but only show not sell, to publicize and display new products and achievements for the purpose of the exhibition.
In 1791, the Czech Republic organized the first such exhibition in Prague, the capital. With the progress of science and technology and the development of social productive forces, the scale of the exhibition has been gradually expanded, and the geographical scope of the exhibition has been expanded from a place to the whole country, and from the domestic to the foreign countries, until it has developed into a world exposition with the participation of many countries.

◆ The First World Expo
1851 On May 1, 1851, the world's first exposition was held in England.
Completed the industrial revolution of the United Kingdom has been the world's first-class power, no one doubts the power of the United Kingdom, because of the power of the great summoning force brought about by the United Kingdom to organize the first world exposition. Queen Victoria sent out a diplomatic invitation letter, and 10 countries accepted the invitation. The serious and stereotypical British used the economic power of the country to set up an exhibition for a world's fair. The architecture of the Victorian era was bulky, with mostly massive stone buildings. At this World's Fair, the British changed their style and built the Crystal Palace in the famous Hyde Company, using steel and glass as the main building materials. Crystal Palace 1700 feet, 100 feet high, used 4500 tons of steel, 10 hectares of glass.
The first World's Fair opened in a lively atmosphere, in an area of 96,000 square meters of exhibition space, the total length of the exhibition table is about 13 kilometers, in the 23 weeks of the exhibition, 6.3 million people to visit. 14,000 pieces of exhibits include a 24-ton lump of coal, a large gold steel diamond from India, and a taxidermy elephant, and the engine, The 14,000 exhibits included a 24-ton lump of coal, a large gold diamond from India, and a taxidermied elephant, while the engines, water-powered printing presses, and textile machinery showed visitors the development of modern industry and the boundless imagination of mankind.
The World's Fair was not only a "dazzling, colorful" display, but also pioneered free trade for decades to come, heralding to mankind the advent of the era of industrialized production, all the exhibits are representative of the development of modern industry and the infinite imagination of mankind. Thus the London Exposition was recognized as the first World's Fair in the modern sense. The Crystal Palace Expo became the great driving force of science and progress in the twentieth century, and its success made the subsequent world expositions and the Olympic Games the same as the global scale of the event, the world exposition is known as the "economic, scientific and technological and cultural world of the Olympic Games".
