Don't you feel sad? / See how clear the blue sky is; / I'd like to go and play a while longer, it would be so nice, / But it's still light and I must go to bed.

Whenever Auntie walked around the house, / the skirt made a peculiar sound, / dragging behind her as it crossed the floor, / and then twirling through the doorway.

The cow all in red patterns was my best friend, / and I loved her with all my heart; / and he did everything he could to give me cream, / and to make me eat it with my apple pie.
She strolls around with her head down,/But can't get lost;/How uncomfortable is the air outside,/Another comfort is the sunshine.
The passing wind invariably blew into her body,/and the rainfall drenched her;/she strolled through the grass,/eating the flowers and plants therein.

I say my prayers every night, / And my daily diet is essential; / I live well every day, / And always eat an orange after my meal.
The boy is not careful about tidiness,/He has plenty of toys and things to eat;/He's a naughty boy, I'm sure - /Or else his dear father is very poor.
