Russia's plug is a two-hole cylindrical plug, generally divided into thicker and thinner two kinds (the thickness of the cylinder). Tourists can bring their own converter. The voltage is 220V.
2. WiFi
Internet access is not very convenient in Russia, and wifi is charged in most areas. Most hotels in Moscow have internet access, but the charges are very expensive, averaging 10-20 USD/day. 80% of downtown Moscow is covered with a kind of monthly wifi, 500 rubles which is about 150 RMB for 1 month of unlimited internet access.
3. Immigration
The procedure is simple, but if you bring a large amount of cash into the country, you need to declare it. Tourists who have not declared the amount of foreign currency can only take 500 US dollars out of the country, and for the rest they must buy a certificate of transaction from a bank and pay a fee of three percent of the amount. When your passport is stamped, the Russian border guards will tear off half of the entry card and leave it behind, and the other half will be stuck in your passport, so please take care of it and don't lose it.
4, refer to the weather forecast
Because the weather in Russia is sometimes uncertain. Buy a thicker and longer down jacket, and boots that are furred and not soaked.
The soles of your shoes should have a clear pattern to increase friction. Hats, scarves, gloves and the like are a must, and it's best to have a mask. Try to minimize the parts that are exposed to the outside.
5. Transportation
It takes about 8 hours to fly to Moscow from Beijing, 9 hours from Shanghai, and 10 hours from Hong Kong. Smoking is prohibited throughout the flight. In order to relieve the fatigue on the plane, you can bring slippers with you to wear on the plane. As the temperature in the cabin is cool, it is better to bring a jacket on the airplane. The time difference between Russia's winter time and Beijing time is 5 hours.
