The music adopts a cyclic structure, with high-spirited melody, passionate and sonorous gongs and drums. It was later adapted into a pipa solo piece, and Yin Biao adapted it into a guitar piece.
"Lao Liu Ban" is a variant of the folk instrumental music "Lao Liu Ban" that is widely popular across the country. It develops the tail changes of the latter as the beginning of the music, so it is commonly known as "Lao Liu Ban" 》.
In the second section, "Gong" (i.e. 3) in the original song is replaced by "Fan" (i.e. 4), and it is transferred to the upper fourth-degree palace tune system. The mood is bright and warm, so it is also called "Everyone Forgets Work" or "Excellent Work Board".
