So how do you find your own strengths to help you grow?
1, start with what you are good at
We all have strengths, but we don't take them for granted, just like me in the past, I never felt that I had strengths. Instead, I felt full of flaws.
Ms. Dan Hong says, "Strengths are things you are good at, or things that bring you value."
Strengths are to be constantly tapped into, not blocked out.
If you are a person who can write and loves to read, then you can use the skill of being able to write and loving to read to influence people around you, to be of service to them, and to be able to lead them in learning to write together.
In other words, being able to write and love to read can bring you value and is a strength of yours.
You have to use strengths to bring value to yourself, and finding out what they are requires us to dig for them.
Ms. Hongdan used her personal experience to tell us that everyone has strengths, whether you are a mom, a working woman, or in any other capacity.
If you're a mom, you have a lot of knowledge about parenting, so you can use that to influence other people.
If you are a working woman, you have a lot of experience in the workplace, you can use your own personal experience to remind your peers who have just entered the workplace, how to avoid detours in the workplace. You can avoid the pitfalls.
If you're someone else and you can square dance and bake, you can use those two strengths to influence others.
Strengths are all about digging into it, discovering it, and using it, and it's what gives you value.
2, with action to enhance the advantages
If you have a lot of advantages, you do not use it to put it aside, then as the old saying goes, "the right not to use, expired." It means to utilize your strengths.
How to use it?
Constantly polish it, refine it, and let it work to your advantage.
7 years ago, Ms. Hongdan was a vegetarian who spent 7 years constantly refining her writing skills, polishing them while learning to teach, and she kept refining the skill of writing so that her writing skills became her strengths and influenced others.
She was able to spend 7 years constantly polishing, could she have gone from vegetarian to writer if she hadn't taken consistent action? Would there be her own online business school?
The answer is, not without sustained action.
Sustained action made her better and better. Can't we also use her story to inspire to discover your strengths to make them your strengths.
What do we need to do to make our strengths an advantage?
It's all about taking action. Because only action can make you get what you want, only action can accompany you to grow, action is the best weapon to heal everything.
3, so that the advantages become advantages
can be from the vegetarian to the writer, first of all, Ms. Hong Dan to do a continuous deep plowing a comprehension, writing and learning. Secondly, she continues to refine her writing and make herself a writing coach. Finally, she is also a sustained action person, she is able to step by step to prove with action, that is she is using the advantages to create an advantage for herself.
There are no shortcuts on the way to growth for us as ordinary people, except that you have to keep digging into your strengths, and then study hard to enhance them to become strengths. Finally, keep plowing deeper and deeper so that the advantages can provide you with value and make the growth traceable.
Now that I've learned to write, I've realized that my strengths are that I can stick to learning to write consistently.
Writing is a spiritual dialog, but also the ability to improve, each writing we have to think y, slowly polished, an article can be written with more depth.
This process is to constantly improve their ability, such as focus, such as independent thinking.
Continuously practicing writing, our writing skills will improve, then writing will become your advantage.
In conclusion
We have to know how to go on improving our strengths and make them your strengths on the way of learning.
As the saying goes, "People are what they are, and things are what they are."
