For the rider's initial basic training action, beating waves is one of the basic actions and a part of the teaching content in the early training rope course. Playing waves not only reduces the weight of the rider on the horse's back, but also enhances the strength of the beginner. It will hardly interfere with the horse's movements. Compared with riding waves, riders are less tired. When the horse is trotting, both feet touch the ground diagonally at the same time, and both feet move diagonally with the rhythm of two beats. When the horse is doing fast-paced exercise, the rider puts his feet on the horse's belly in the saddle and does standing and sitting exercises during the vibration of the horse.

When surfing, the rider doesn't sit in the saddle every step, but stands up one step (supported by knees and pedals) and gently sits back in the saddle next step.

When you stand up, the saddle is pushed away from the saddle under the action and propulsion of the horse; Was pushed away. It is wrong for the rider to voluntarily pull himself out of the saddle, because this action reduces the smoothness of the horse's movements and interferes with the horse's back movements.

In order to make the rider stand and sit flexibly, the rider's feet should be placed directly below his center of gravity. Knees should be kept in a bent state. To keep the heel at the lowest point of your body, the rider's calf must keep its position and keep in contact with the horse, but; Not tightly clamping the horse's body, so; The rider can follow the horse's pace in time. When the rider sits down flexibly, the rider will use his own weight and feet with a little stronger support to motivate the horse and better drive forward with his hind legs. If you ride in this way, the rider will have a positive impact on the horse's pace and help the horse to be softer and more transparent.

The upper body should be upright, and the rider should sit in the middle of the saddle. In order to keep the trot smooth, it is better to lean forward slightly when standing up than to stand up and wave stiffly. If it is in a special state, riding on the waves with a short pedal and leaning forward slightly from the hips can strengthen the coordination and balance transformation between the rider and the horse. However, the rider must avoid leaning forward excessively, or; The saddle is pushed back too much, resulting in loss of contact with the horse's mouth, or stiff knees and ankles; Put your feet and feet out.

When one diagonal limb of the horse swings forward, the rider stands up to face the waves, (for example; Right hind limb and left forelimb), when the diagonal limbs of the other pair move forward, they sit back on the saddle elastically. The identification name of the foot limb is called by its forelimb, so; When the rider hears the right wave, the horse's right forelimb is raised at the same time. If it is a left wave, the rider should wave it in time with the horse's left forelimb. In Germany, the rider is required to make waves (on the left hind limb or the right hind limb); That is; If the rider is riding the right leg, then; The coach asked the rider to ride the waves on the left hind leg (diagonally opposite).

When changing the chest, the rider sits down for two steps to change the oblique limb of the horse, or takes a few more steps (but the number of steps must be even), and then starts riding again.

Second, suppress the waves.

When the horse makes a brisk pace, the rider can sit on the saddle all the time, with his hips together, in addition to standing and sitting in waves. Surfing is the most important thing. You must relax your hips and don't let your hips bounce off the horse. But whether surfing or riding waves, riders should also pay attention to the fact that the upper body should be straight but relaxed and soft, and the shoulders should be relaxed and open. Arms should be relaxed, but fingers should hold the reins tightly. Lower body should be strong, legs should be as low as possible, heels should not be raised, and palms should not be opened. More importantly, be balanced, relaxed and natural, and be accompanied by horses. It takes some time to practice wave pressing, so that you can get familiar with the deep and gentle riding style when pressing waves, so that you can sit still in the horse's movements, especially when trotting and running. Exercise with a tuning rope or riding without pedaling is particularly effective for practicing wave suppression.

Third, add fuel to the flames.

When you are proficient in walking, surfing and surfing, you can learn to run. With the previous foundation, you can naturally learn to run. When a horse runs, there are two different directions: running to the left and running to the right. Running is a three-beat sport. On the first beat, the horse's outer hind foot is the support point. In the second beat, the inner front foot, the inner rear foot and the outer front foot move forward at the same time, and finally in the third beat. In the rhythm of these three beats, the rider should keep his inner strength, his body is like a swing, his shoulders are still, his pelvis slides forward with the saddle, and his ass should not be bounced off the saddle. When he slides to the top, his inner thigh will help him push the waves again. When you learn to run, you will find that running is actually very comfortable and enjoyable. If the internal and external order is opposite (the right front foot is in front when running left, or the left front foot is in front when running right), it is called reverse running, which has gone beyond the basic riding action and is one of the subjects of equestrian in racecourse. In the basic riding contact, the rider sometimes accidentally makes the horse run backwards, which is wrong and should stop immediately and start running again.
