Economic Development of Boai County

As of 2012, Boai County's GDP has reached 18.74 billion yuan; total social fixed asset investment has been 10.6 billion yuan; total retail sales of consumer goods have been 3.45 billion yuan; and local fiscal general budget revenue has been 540 million yuan.

More than 80 teams from various towns and villages in Boai County and some county-level units staged unique cultural and artistic programs. Among them, the stage drama song and dance performance is arranged on the South Square stage, with a total of 8 days of performances and 18 programs. The folk art performance is arranged on Pocheng Road and lasts for 4 days. More than 60 folk art teams participated in the performance. The program has various forms and rich content. In the performance in the city, Boai County *** organized 8 performance teams including Friends Tire Company, An Jiangling Company, and Baji Civil and Military School to participate, with more than 500 performers and staff, which was the largest in history. Seven towns in Boai County, including Xuliang Town, Yangmiao Town, Motou Town, Baishan Town, Xiaojing Town, Jincheng Township, and Zhaihuo Township, have been included in the construction units of township comprehensive cultural stations.
