As we all know, the physical development of adults is perfect, while children are in the period of growth and development. Therefore, their physical conditions are very different, which is also the main reason for the differences between adult dance teaching and infant dance teaching. Only by understanding and solving this problem can we avoid detours in actual teaching.
Physical condition of adults
The growth and development of adults are basically stereotyped, with hard bones, tight ligaments and poor flexibility of waist and legs. Some skills and movements are not easy to master even with no amount of effort, so learning dance requires more effort.
For adults, you should always leg press, and you must kick your legs after each training to make your legs more flexible. Basic skills such as rolling, bending and physical training are all necessary and must be adhered to. We can't fish for two days and dry the net for three days. In actual study, we must keep working hard and stick to it in order to see obvious results.
Children's physical condition
Children's bones are immature, so children lack motor function, especially the soft tissue development of phalanges and metacarpals is incomplete. First of all, in children's training, we should make full use of the advantages of children's soft opening and give instructions to children in childlike language, so that children will not feel tired during training. Secondly, children's joint capsule is loose and easy to dislocate.
The child's balance, control and muscle contractility are not very good. Overload training will affect the normal development of children. Only the correct training method can make children stand straight.
Therefore, through the comparison of physical conditions, we know that children are in the period of growth and development, and their bodies have not yet formed, so the soft opening of the body is much better than that of adults, and skills and movements can be easily mastered with a little practice. Plasticity is better than that of adults, but the control ability of the body is not as good as that of adults, so we should be careful in action design.
Skills:
Physical and verbal cues. When practicing the basic training of flexibility and ballet, the teacher kept telling us the essentials and correcting the movements from time to time. For young children, caring physical contact is very important, while adult dance class only needs a little reminder, and it will be annoying to keep touching it.
The correct way to practice martial arts. I thought there would be no quick success and instant benefit in this era, but there were still some special students who tore their ligaments when they were in the dormitory in leg press. The training method in childhood may take a long time, so no matter how soft and easy it is to break, it is important to teach children the correct method.
Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. In basic training, children who are prepared to take a professional route are best distinguished from pure hobbies. You might as well communicate with your parents more. For example, if you are an amateur ticket player, you don't have to be charged with stepping on your back and pressing your knees. If the instep is not broken, it will be ugly to wear sandals when you grow up.
Teach more. There were few dance videos when I was a child. Although few children can do many skills, the teacher takes pains to emphasize the essentials and encourages us to think after class. Like me, I was too stupid to learn when I was a child, and one day I could have an epiphany and play all kinds of skills that I didn't even think about before.
Feel music and rhythm. Breathing with music, imagining story scenes is a compulsory course before arranging new programs when I was a child. I think music sketch and expression training should also be added. Dance should show all kinds of plots and artistic conception, not just grin until your face is stiff.
Don't stifle children's creativity. Special students in universities are used to tearing tapes, and every detail should be carefully watched before the video. Without video, they will be forced to jump. Do all the artists in the art troupe have to vomit? Now there are so many action materials, if children still think dancing is imitation, I feel very sad.
Mentality:
Attitude towards the stage can radiate to all aspects of life. Children who learn dance love to express themselves, and their high personal skills often make the whole program brilliant. Therefore, compared with the orchestra, folk band and chorus of the school art troupe, the dance team is famous for its love of show and personality. So in addition to practicing dance, I think it is very important to cultivate children's low-key and cooperative consciousness.
Typhoon. When I was a child, I attended a series of parties. The teacher asked us to watch other programs under the stage or do our homework in the background. We are not allowed to take pictures everywhere with cosmetics. We should go up and down quietly and quickly, and we are not allowed to pull our pants on the stage.
Correctly understand hobbies and specialties. Children love to show off their specialties, while adults love to praise them too much. Let children realize that any hobby can only become a "specialty" through hard practice, and shows without results should not be praised.
Training consistency. Teach children to make full use of shadows, reflective glass, etc. We should pay attention to the consistency of our movements, props and body rhyme expression with others in our usual training. Not only can we cultivate team consciousness, but we can also "work" when rehearsing the program.
Avoid "preferences". Children are very sensitive psychologically. There are always some children who learn quickly and have a good sense of dance. However, when arranging programs, they should give hard-working children (not gifted children) more opportunities, and sometimes even deliberately strike a balance to protect their interests.
