Today, I am very excited because our school is going to have a sports meeting.
At the opening ceremony, we wore neat school uniforms, shouted loud slogans, and entered the venue like energetic soldiers. The principal also gave our class a thumbs up. Then the sisters and brothers ran with colorful flags. They held colorful flags in their hands and ran around the playground, really like dancing butterflies. Then came the principal's speech, the referee's representative's speech and the athlete's representative's speech. Finally we returned to our seats.
The sports meeting started, but it started to rain lightly. We sat on our seats with umbrellas, like little flowers blooming. It felt so fun! Our sports (competition events) include long jump, 200-meter run, 80-meter run, 60-meter relay, throwing, etc.
The competition was very fierce. I participated in the 60-meter relay race. Our class was compared with the other seven classes in the entire third grade. The game started, and the whole class was shouting for us, "Come on! Come on!" This made me full of confidence (and strength). I ran and ran forward desperately, but our class still ran too slowly. Be the last one! My heart is very heavy! (I really regret not practicing running properly during morning exercises!)
The next day, it was still raining. It was the men’s 60-meter relay race in our class. Because it was raining heavily, we were waiting in the class. , After a while, boys ran in from outside like horses, and they were all soaked in water! But they won first place! Finally turned over and won the battle! We were so happy that we cheered in the class!
Through this sports meeting, I understand that in the future I will participate in more sports, exercise more, and strive to achieve good results next time (sports meeting) and win glory for the class!
