Who knows the Mulan Poem or Mulan Rhetoric?

Mulan Rhetoric

Ki ki, ki ki again, Mulan is weaving in the house. I don't hear the loom, I only hear the woman sighing, asking the woman what she is thinking about? What does the woman remember? The woman has nothing to think about, and she has nothing to remember. Last night, I saw the military posters, the Khan's army counted the troops, and there were twelve volumes of military books, with the name of the master in each volume. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that, but I'm sure I'm going to be able to do it, and I'm sure I'm going to be able to do it.

Buying a horse in the east market, a saddle blanket in the west market, a bridle in the south market, and a whip in the north market. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a good deal on a new one, but I'm sure I'll be able to get a good deal on a new one," he said.

Ten thousand miles to the battlefield, the mountains and the passes are as if they were flying. The air of the new day is like a golden watchman's rattle, and the cold light shines on the iron clothes. The generals died in a hundred battles, and the heroes returned in ten years.

Returning to see the Son of Heaven, the Son of Heaven sits in the Hall of Heaven. He was rewarded with a hundred thousand rewards for his efforts. Khan asked what he wanted, Mulan does not need to Shangshulang, I would like to borrow a bright camel thousands of miles of feet, to send his son back to his hometown.

Masters and mothers heard the daughter to come, out of the Guo Xiang Fu will be; sister heard sister to come, when the household red makeup; little brother heard sister to come, sharpening knives to the pigs and sheep. I've opened the door to the East Pavilion and sat on the bed in the West Pavilion. Take off my war-time robe and put on my old-time clothes. I am taking care of my temples in front of the window, and I am putting on flowers in front of the mirror. When I went out to see my companions, they were all frightened. I've been with them for twelve years, but I didn't know Mulan was a woman.

The male rabbit's feet are fluttering, the female rabbit's eyes are confused. The two rabbits are walking along the ground, how can I tell if I am male or female?

Translation: Mulan's Dictionary

Sigh after sigh, the Mulan girl was weaving at the door. The loom stops and the loom no longer makes a sound, only the girl can be heard sighing. (Mulan replied) What are you thinking of when you sigh like that? (Mulan replied) I am not thinking of anything, Miss. Last night I saw the conscription papers, and knew that the king was recruiting soldiers in great numbers, and there were so many rolls of conscription papers, and my father's name was on every one of them. Father has no grown-up son, and I, Mulan, have no elder brother; I would go and buy saddles and horses, and from now on take my father's place in the conscription.

Buy the steeds in the east market, the saddles and the pads under them in the west market, the chews and reins in the south market, and the long whips in the north market. In the morning they left their parents and went on the road, and at night they camped by the Yellow River; they could not hear their parents calling for their daughters, but only the crashing sound of the Yellow River surging and rushing. In the morning I bid farewell to the Yellow River and went on the road, and at night I arrived at the Black Mountain Head, and could not hear my parents calling my daughter's voice, but could only hear the chirping of the warhorses of the Hu soldiers in Yanshan.

Marching ten thousand miles to the battlefield to fight, over passes and mountains as quickly as flying over. In the cold wind of the north came the sound of the Diao Dou, and the cold moonlight reflected the iron armor of the warriors' robes. The generals had fought countless battles to the death, only to return victorious ten years later.

Victorious return to the pilgrimage to see the son of heaven, the son of heaven sat on the hall (merit reward). Mulan was given the highest rank of merit and was rewarded with more than a thousand gold. The Son of Heaven asked Mulan what she wanted, Mulan did not want to be an official like Shangshulang, she wanted to ride a good camel and use its legs to send me back to my hometown.

The parents, hearing that their daughter had returned, helped each other to meet her outside the city; the elder sister, hearing that her younger sister had returned, combed her hair against the portal; the younger brother, hearing that his sister had returned, was busy hobnobbing and sharpening his knife to kill the pigs and slaughter the sheep. I opened the door of the east side of my boudoir, sat down on the bed of the west side of my boudoir, took off the robe that I wore in the war, put on my former girl's clothes, arranged my sideburns that were as soft as dark clouds in front of the window, and pasted flowers and yellow flowers on my forehead in front of the mirror. I went out to meet the partners who went on the same expedition, and they were all surprised and said that we had traveled together for twelve years, but they didn't know that Mulan was a girl.

The male rabbit's feet like to scratch and flutter, and the female rabbit's eyes are always squinting, so when they run next to each other on the ground, how can they tell who is male and who is female?

Simplified Analysis:

This ancient narrative poem is full of legends, recounting the story of Mulan, a heroine who joined the army on behalf of her father. For thousands of years, the image of this heroine has become a household name and a favorite among people. The whole poem is bright and robust, simple and vivid, with a strong flavor of folk songs. The name of the poem is also called "Mulan Diction".

The whole poem can be divided into six paragraphs according to the content and time of the narrative:

The first paragraph (lines 1-8) says that after Mulan learned the news of conscription and weighed it again and again, she could only join the army on behalf of her father by herself;

From Mulan's stopping machine and sighing to lead to the conversation between the mother and daughter, it shows that Mulan joined the army on behalf of her father for the sake of the reason, and it can be seen that Mulan is y righteous, and she is not only considerate of her father's difficulty of not being able to join the army in the old age, but also Considering that the conscription of troops by the Son of Heaven is a great plan for the defense of the country, Mulan resolutely decided to join the army on behalf of her father, which shows her brave and strong character.

The second paragraph (lines 9-14) talks about Mulan's preparation for and departure on the journey, and renders the danger of the coming battlefield;

Mulan goes from the preparation for and departure on the journey to the front line. On the one hand, she writes about the distance of the journey, the speed of the march and the urgency of the military situation, boldly showing the heroic spirit of the warrior; on the other hand, she uses the empty and desolate night scene in the camp to emphasize that Mulan misses her relatives more and more as she gets farther away from her home, and she portrays the young woman's delicate feelings in a fine and meticulous way, thus revealing the special contradictions caused by the sudden change of her life in Mulan's character.

The third paragraph (lines 15-17) goes beyond the description and narration of the battlefield, and summarizes Mulan's battle-hardened and victorious return with a brief description of the 10,000 miles of mountains and ten years of life and death;

Line 15 exaggerates Mulan's athletic posture. She is straddling a war horse, and with the army on the march, she passes through a pass, flies over a high mountain, and heads for the front for thousands of miles.

Line 16 describes the night scene at the border. The cold north wind transmits the sound of DiaoDou, the generals are camping in the army; the cold moonlight reflects the bright armor, the sentries are patrolling at night. This starry night sentry is exactly a silhouette for Mulan on the battlefield.

Line 17 summarizes that the war was protracted and the fighting fierce and tragic. The generals have been on the battlefield for ten years and have experienced thousands of brutal battles, some have died in battle and some have returned. Among the generals who were lucky enough to survive and return, the valiant Mulan was one.

This part of the total **** three lines of six lines, with extremely condensed and harmonious language, graphically summarizes the whole process of Mulan's journey from leaving home until her triumphant return to the court. Since the focus of the poem does not lie in eulogizing the heroic acts of the hero in galloping through the sands and building up her career, but in celebrating her noble sentiments of dedicating herself to the battlefield without seeking glory, the battlefield and the war are summarized to the highest degree in only six lines.

The fourth paragraph (lines 18-21) talks about Mulan's dislike of official positions and salaries, and her determination to resign and return to her hometown;

Using exaggerated language to write about Mulan's great achievements and the emperor's rewards, and then talking about her resignation from her official position to emphasize the noble character of her not wanting to seek glory and fame. Mulan is still attached to her homeland's farming and weaving life, and is still the innocent daughter of her parents.

The fifth paragraph (lines 22-29) describes Mulan's parents' and sisters' joyful and busy attitude when she returned home and her own coziness and the surprise of her comrades after she returned to her daughter's clothes;

Firstly, it describes the joyful atmosphere of the home through the demeanor of her parents and sisters who are in line with the characteristics of their gender, age, and status, and then it expresses Mulan's uncontrollable joyfulness through her series of actions after she returned. Finally, as a climax and conclusion, there is the comedic scene of Mulan, who has resumed her girl's attire, coming to meet her partner.

The sixth and final paragraph consists of only four lines, lines 30-31: "The male rabbit's feet are fluttering, the female rabbit's eyes are bewildered; the two rabbits are walking along the ground, so how can I tell if I am male or female?"

It is an accompanying paragraph, a tribute to Mulan. With a wonderful metaphor, Mulan disguised as a man on behalf of his father in the army for twelve years undetected caution, sensitivity to do the eulogy and praise.
