First, get a pair of tight flat shoes, or start with soft-soled shoes.
Second: Make sure the floor you're practicing on isn't too rough; try to find a smooth surface.
Starting the exercise :
1: Stand with your feet together, with your left foot slightly more forward than your right (the front of your right toe should be in line with the middle of your left toe).
2: Then lift your right heel and stand on the front of your right foot as if you were walking, keeping your left foot in place (be careful not to move it).
3: When you put your right heel down, shift your full weight to your right foot and slowly drag your left foot backward (at this point your left foot is basically unstressed),
and then bring your left toes level with your right heel. Do this step with the left heel slightly off the ground, and don't step down on your left foot or you won't be able to slide.
Make sure to slowly lower your right heel at the same time as you move your left foot. Put your right heel down at the same time that your left foot starts to be stressed, and slowly drag your right foot back
move your right foot (which is basically unstressed at this point), and then bring your left and right feet back to where they were when you started. Repeat this exercise alternating left and right feet.
The control of speed needs more practice (this is only related to a simple backward slide, and forward slide is the same reason, only to the front of the direction of the slide).
4: Keep practicing the above steps until you can move without any obstacles.
5: Once you're proficient, extend your left foot forward, but don't touch the floor; make it look like you're kicking just off the ground.
Move it as far away from the front of the right toe as the equivalent of one foot. Don't lift any part of the left foot extra high.
6: Move your left foot back to the initial position you started in and lift your right heel once again. Bend your left leg and repeat 3. Keep practicing until you get all the essentials,
7: Once you are proficient at bending your right foot, switch feet and try to do the same with your left foot. Lift your left heel and lower your left foot as you slide back with your right foot. Brace on your left foot, extend your right foot and lift your left heel, then slowly move your right foot back again as you lower your left foot.
Everyone should learn it well! If you don't understand, you can ask me!
