Serbia, beautiful scenery is all on the road. Detailed explanation of niche attractions

The plane arrived in Belgrade at 11:30 noon local time. The airport is very small. It is estimated that it will not be an airport in a second-tier domestic city. Just follow the instructions to exit customs and collect your luggage. Since Chinese passports are visa-free, there is no need to add Ask more questions and get through customs easily. It feels so good!

Belgrade Airport is very small. Just go out and pick up your luggage. There are money exchangers inside and outside. All ATMs do not support UnionPay. It is recommended to exchange Euros at home. . There is a taxi station and a bus station just outside the airport. There is a special bus into the city that goes to the city center square for 300 DIN, which is equivalent to RMB 19.

On the bus, you have to buy a ticket and your luggage is piled in the middle. The picture below is the ticket. Of course, you can also choose to pick up the car directly at the airport. There are many car rental companies, and there are also many taxis. Some are black cars. Regular taxis are not expensive and have a TX on the back of the license plate. Those that do not are black cars. Even if you take a black bus, the price will not be much more expensive than in China. They will use the English equivalent of 15 and 50 to defraud money, so before getting on the bus, make sure it is 15 euros and not 50. Feel free to get on.

The color of the ticket is not bad

The quality of the hotel is the same all over the world

We chose Hilton for accommodation in Bay City. The price is not high, the location is very good, and there is direct access to the airport bus terminal. Save yourself the embarrassment of dragging your luggage around. The hotel is very new and has five-star standards. You can check in with peace of mind. It has its own dedicated parking lot where you can park.

Classic cars can be seen everywhere on the streets

After putting down our luggage, we set off to the first attraction. Saint Sava Cathedral is very close to the Hilton Hotel, about ten minutes' walk.

Glorious

This is the largest Orthodox church in Belgrade. I am still continuing to practice. The interior is basically unfinished and looks like a construction site. The photo was taken in 2018, and it has probably been repaired by now. Who was Saint Sava? He was a very important monarch in Serbian history. After his death, he was buried in the Studenica Monastery. Later, after the Ottoman Turks attacked Serbia, they dug up the saint's body from the monastery and took it to the place where the church is now for burning and whipping. This inspired revolt among the entire Serbian people. In order to commemorate the tragic life of this saint, the current Saint Sava Church was built on the place where he was burned.

100 Years of History

After an afternoon of walking around, we basically visited all the main attractions in Belgrade. In fact, it is on Dagong Street, and the scenic spots are distributed near these streets for several kilometers.

Santana in the 1980s

When I took a break in the afternoon, I went to an internet celebrity cafe on the pedestrian street. It was converted into an old magazine. The coffee is done to perfection. However, the atmosphere at the scene and the appearance of the waiters were very good. On the first floor, there is a cool barber shop that specializes in men's hair and beards. If you like it, you can give it a try.

I went to a very popular restaurant for dinner in the evening. In Serbia, their dinner time basically starts after 8 to 9 pm, so there is no need to go too early. There are several great restaurants, the first one on the list is called Casa Nova, which has a cheesy name. In the living area, the food is good and the price is not expensive. The raw meat tartare is the largest I have ever seen. The portion is really outrageous. Don't order too much. It is more than enough for three people to share. The Serbs need to eat one kilogram of beef per meal, but we only eat one tael per meal.

This is a rough meatloaf

It’s bigger than my fist

This dish is called stacked arhat

Belgrade is actually not a very popular place. Fashionable city (compared to Paris and Milan). If you shop here, there is basically nothing to buy. HM ZARA is basically the most fashionable in the area, so don’t expect to buy big brands here, there are basically no specialty stores. But a war-torn city that had fought more than 100 battles and been razed nearly 50 times had actually recovered very well. Everyone was working hard to live a decent life, and I really liked the way they loved life. The beauty of Belgrade needs to be lived in to appreciate it.

There is a town called Zemeng near Bei City, just on the other side of the river. You can take a bus from the bus center in the city. The fare is 290 local currency, which is not cheap.

Therefore, if you take a lot of trains, it is recommended to buy an unlimited ticket for the day, the price is also 290.

Lovely red roof

This is the tower on the top of the mountain. You can see the whole town. It is worth climbing to the top. The red bricks have tourists from all periods visiting here. , people all over the world like to engrave characters on historical sites. However, they all wrote it very seriously, and it turned into a work of art. The earliest one that can be found is 1905, and the tower was repaired in 1906. I asked the administrator what happened to 1905? She said she didn’t know either. , it is estimated that the carvings may have been inscribed during the construction~maybe it was left by the craftsmen. Basically, the people who carved these words may have passed away. I feel that time flies very fast

The ones that were carved in 1908

There is a small cafe next to the tower. Get a glimpse of the town.

A very cute and carefree wild cat

Mr. Monkey’s World Back View

I think he is the sexiest woman in the town

On the way to the town, you can pass by a Brutalist building from the Tito period. It is abandoned and very interesting. If you like it, you can go and see it. It would be nice to get in.

Very interesting lighting window

The architectural sculptures of that period were full of power

I think this gate should be worth a lot of money

Does it look like our archives in the 1980s?

There are various restaurants along the riverside of the town, with good quality and low prices. This fancy steakhouse is first-class and so delicious that you want to dance.

There are flocks of swans by the river, which are very cute. However, the swans are quite fierce. Don’t approach them casually, as they will bite the chickens.

Zemeng Town does not have a car, so it takes a lot of time. If there are elderly people going there, it is recommended to drive. There are parking spots everywhere in the town, so you don’t have to worry about parking.

Another important reason why I came to the former Yugoslavia was to look for those Brutalist war monuments. I am obsessed with these symbolic buildings from the Tito period. They are scattered in many places in the Balkans, some are protected and some are abandoned.

The two pictures below are of the Monument Iron Plow. It really took a lot of hard work to find the couch. I couldn’t find it on the navigation system. I even asked and touched it. Finally, I found it in an inconspicuous corner on the side of a country road. When we found it, a group of cows were grazing around, and the ground was covered with cow dung, which made people feel quite pitiful. Maybe the Serbians themselves have forgotten this building.

The Red Star is the most famous monument near Belgrade

I saw a photo of a hut in the river in Serbia early on National Geographic, and then there was a story about the friendship of the owner of the hut. It felt like It’s very interesting, so I made this the first must-visit attraction. Going southwest from Belgrade, the town where the hut is located is called Bajina Basta. If you want to take good pictures of the cabin in the forest, you have to do it in the morning. We arrived in the afternoon, so the backlight was completely dark. This photo is really ugly and cannot be seen by anyone. So the photo looks really ugly. I basically ruined this internet celebrity attraction, so I’ll show you the photo of the travel guru TINO.

The above three pictures are all transferred from Tino. He was probably the first Chinese to board the hut and chat with the owner. I don’t know how to say hello when I repost the picture. If it offends me, please tell me to delete it.

Okay, I destroyed, River House. But the scenery is not bad and worth seeing. What I recommend is that there is a small river above the town, and there is a restaurant on it, which is very good. This restaurant is on a deck set up on the river. Very distinctive. We had already eaten at the restaurant at the River House, so it was a pity that we missed this restaurant. We must try it next time.

Next we headed to Tara National Park.

Tara National Park is actually a big concept. There are two large lakes. We chose to go to the most famous viewing point and see the widest scenery. Vintage Point is a relatively famous viewing spot. It is also a filming location for National Geographic magazine. The road conditions were not very good and it took more than an hour to drive. Then you need to hike, which takes about 15 minutes. Relatively speaking, it is a very hidden attraction and there is no visitor center. The air in the forest is very good, extremely quiet, and even a little scary. But when you finally climb to the viewing point and your eyes suddenly open up, you feel that everything is worth it. Extremely atmospheric scenery.

It was almost dark after we finished in the national park. We drove to our accommodation for the day. Zradi Bol. This is a health resort, very close to Urise, the largest city in central China. There are a large number of hotels and resorts. The hotel we booked is called Mir Hotel, which is very good and cheap. The booking score is 9.3. It is a hotel worth recommending. Of course there are many other hotels to choose from. You can see more

The scenery along the way is amazing

The highlight is the Urice War Monument and UAVC Canyon

To go to the War Monument, you will pass through the city of Urice District, there is a fortification outside the city, which is a scenic spot worth visiting, but Monkey and I were anxious to go to UAVC, so we gave up. Urise is a city built on a mountain, which has the flavor of a mountain city. Many roads are 20 On the steep slope above 10 degrees, there are B&Bs on both sides, which is very interesting to travel through. I don’t know why Google Maps is so popular, it specially took us to super shortcuts, and because of this, we saw a different kind of scenery.

This is the Zlatibor Hotel in the center of Uzice. It is now abandoned. It is a famous representative of Brutalist architecture during the Tito period. It can also be regarded as a landmark building in Uzice. There are only a few buildings below. A small restaurant and car repair shop, it would be great if someone could revitalize it.

A corner of the urban area of ??Urize

In particular, I went to visit this wonderful sculpture group of World War II monuments from the socialist period, which stood alone on the hill in the suburbs of Urize. This is one of the three most famous World War II monuments in Yugoslavia and has begun to weather

The name of this sculpture group is Bullet Holes. It was very difficult to understand his introduction. The pillars represent bombs and painful People, some faces have been weathered, and the main sculpture with bullet holes should be easy to understand. There is no way to take aerial photography. It is said that the pattern in aerial photography is more shocking. Basically, there are views from every angle of the sculpture, and it is very well done.

The inscription on the monument is a poem, right?

The following is copied

My beloved country, did you know the whole battalion died here?

The blood blooms through the fallen snow, cold and white.but still in the south, the army walks.

During the night, wind swept away the traces,

The 14th kilometer fell, but Kadinja_a never will!

The 14 kilometers in the inscription is the distance from Uzice to here. It is said that the guerrillas were killed by the Germans when they arrived here. Tito personally opened the unveiling of the sculpture. It is considered the most important sculpture in Yugoslavia

After visiting the World War II Memorial, we drove to today’s important destination, the UAVC Canyon. The canyon is located in the southern part of Serbia. It is a north-south lake area. The environment point we are going to is on the east side of the canyon. There will be a small visitor center at the end of the south canyon where you can rent a boat to go to a cave in the canyon.

On the way to the canyon, we encountered heavy rain. Just happened to be stuck by a beautiful lake. Looking at the map, I found that this is a source of water in the canyon. We simply ate in the hotel by the lake.

The scenery along the way is beautiful

I found a swamp near where we were located, and there were several cars parked nearby. The scenery was very good, and there was a dirt road leading to the environmental point of the canyon. The road conditions were very bad, and it was difficult to identify the direction. Fortunately, Google Maps was very powerful, and I finally found a parking spot at the environmental point. Some people parked their cars by the lake and walked for more than an hour to get there. Monkey and I forced ourselves to drive to the end of the road. It turned out to be correct and we saw the viewing point in five minutes' walk.

The monkey led the way

I peed in the back

When I walked to the observation deck, the scenery was so majestic and I felt suddenly enlightened. I even saw an eagle flying. , the canyon is exceptionally quiet.

There were already a few tourists on the stage. After we greeted each other, we started to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wait for the dark clouds to disperse. Because it was overcast, everyone was waiting for the moment when the sky might clear up

This kind of The scenery can only be said to be amazing

After waiting for about half an hour, a ray of light suddenly burst out of the sky and hit the river in the canyon. The river suddenly turned from dark green to emerald green. Everyone was excited. I started to scream, and the light stayed for a few seconds, and I got this picture

After the stunning scenery, it started to rain. An Austrian couple on the stage asked us to send them out of the mountain. We were joking and joking along the bumpy mountain road

On the way, we saw the first double rainbow in our lives. The saturation was extremely high and the shape was complete. Several people ran out excitedly to take pictures. It was really We were so lucky

The rain stopped when we came out of the canyon, and we continued on our way to today’s rest point, a small town in the middle of the country, known as the mineral spring town Fornja Chika. This town is famous for its mineral springs, but I didn’t see it. There is also a legend that this is the love lock, which is the birthplace of the silly breakup lock. Hahaha, the love locks of dogs and men all over the world come from here. ?It’s funny to think about it, so you must go and see it

This is the original form of love locks. There are not many of them, which makes people a little suspicious

Studenica Monastery. STUDENICA

On the way to the monastery, I accidentally saw a red monastery on the roadside. It was quite big. Having said that, I turned the corner and went in. Photography is prohibited inside the monastery, so in order to comply with local customs, I did not take any photos, but I must tell you that it is worth seeing inside. The lobby inside the church is really beautiful. There are a lot of chains on the dome, and if a huge light is dropped, and then combined with the light and sunlight, it looks like a hell instead of a holy church. There is a kind of terrifying, but very sexy beauty. It's unlike any other church I've ever seen. I can't describe how I felt when I saw this church. I was really surprised. Sexy, I can only describe it as sexy. The gardens of the monastery are also very beautiful.

Later, when I was reading the information, I discovered that this monastery is not simple at all. If any king in Serbian history does not perform the anointing ceremony in this monastery, then his coronation will have no meaning and he will not receive Public recognition. It shows her importance. Fortunately, I stepped on the brakes at that time, otherwise I would regret it if I missed it.

Then continue on the way to STUDENICA Monastery

STUDENICA is a UNESCO cultural heritage with a long history, and the frescoes inside are beautiful. Dunhuang murals are dry murals, while the ones here are all wet murals. I don’t know which one will last longer. The monastery is the most important Orthodox monastery in Serbia. Seeing that we are Chinese, the administrator enthusiastically told us the story of this monastery. It was wonderful. Saint Sava, the most important monarch in Serbian history, was buried here. Later, They were dug out by the Turks and dragged to Belgrade to be whipped and burned. Only then did the St. Sava Church, the largest church in Belgrade, come into being. The Turks destroyed many beautiful murals and demolished the monastery dome. The purpose was actually to smelt steel and dig out gold to join my country's steel smelting. The frescoes are well preserved as they were during the period. It is the most beautiful picture of the Crucifixion I have ever seen. The style of painting is unique and very beautiful. It has a history of 1900 years.

Because I couldn’t take pictures, I also borrowed the pictures of TINO. Show it to everyone.

There are still many places in Serbia that I have not visited. Next time I will take my parents with me to revisit the old place.
