The end of the song means that everything has a moment of extinction. As soon as the music stopped, people dispersed. Or, for example, all things must come to an end. The original text is "The song ends with people scattered, and there are several peaks on the river."
Original extract (second edition):
Cangwu complains, and Angelica dahurica is fragrant. Running water flows to Pu, and I hate Taiwan crossing Dongting. The music is quiet, but there is no drums of the water god. The river disappears, revealing several peaks, which are green and charming.
Translation:
When such wonderful music reached the wilderness of Cangwu, even the spirit of Shun Di, who was resting on Jiuyi Mountain, was moved by it, giving birth to complaints and longings; And Angelica dahurica, which grows in Cangwu area, also spits out more fragrance under the inspiration of music. The music spread along the running water to Xiangjiang River, turned into a hate platform and flew over the vast Dongting Lake. At the end of the song, people dispersed and were silent, but there was no goddess Xiang Shui. The smoke on the river dissipates, revealing several peaks, which are beautiful and charming.

An analysis of the meaning of the end of the song
"At the end of the song, there are several peaks on the river", which is called "farewell song". It is said that after the song, there is only one river and several peaks on the screen. The original intention in the poem is not to express the meaning of parting.
In the original poem, "No one can see the ending of the song and several peaks on the river", which leaves readers with a broad space to ponder: perhaps Xiangling's sadness has been integrated into the continuous flowing water of Xiangjiang River, perhaps Xiangling's beautiful image has turned into several peaks on the river, or perhaps Xiangling is integrated with nature, telling her sad and moving story to future generations year after year.
Later, poets such as Liu Yuxi and Li Yuan took advantage of the absence of people at the end of the Song Dynasty, so they often used the present meaning, such as "At the end of the Song Dynasty, people were worried about dusk, and the water in front of Quting painted eastward" (at the end of the Song Dynasty, only the water in front of Quting painted eastward). This is another story.
