What does robotics education mean?

I. Definition of Robotics Education:

Robotics education refers to the design, assembly, programming and operation of robots to stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate their comprehensive abilities. The technology integrates many advanced technologies such as mechanical principles, electronic sensors, computer hardware and software and artificial intelligence, carrying a new mission for the cultivation of students' ability and quality.

Substance:

Robotics education is not only teaching children robotics, programming technology, knowledge of various disciplines, but through the work of the robot as a teaching carrier, to stimulate the children's interest in insight, and cultivate the children's sense of invention and innovation and practical ability. Robotics education is first and foremost a form of education, and robots are only a tool used for educational purposes.

Robotics education can cultivate children's abilities in many aspects, such as the ability to define problems and solve them; the ability to collect and apply information; the ability to work with hands; the ability to work in a team; the ability to express oneself; the ability to think critically; and the ability to maintain curiosity and imagination, etc. These are the skills that will be needed to compete in the future. These are the abilities needed for future competition.

Third, the way of robotics education:

There are two kinds of robotics education, one is the 4C teaching method, and the other is the PBL teaching method (Project Based Learning)

First of all, we know about the commonly used 4C teaching method: Connect, Construct, Reflect, and Carry on. It capitalizes on students' innate ability to build with their hands and explore cause and effect, as well as their natural talent for exploration in problem solving, as the ideal way to build a cognitive world. In fact, the 4C pedagogy is the four pedagogical processes of the teaching and learning process
