What's up with Kim's tape?

Kim Kardashian went viral in 2007 for a private videotape she made with her ex-boyfriend Ray J. News of Kim Kardashian's private videotape with Ray J, the younger brother of singer Brandy, went viral in 2007, and Kim Kardashian acknowledged the tape's existence, saying that she'd never sell it for money because she didn't need the money, and that she probably didn't think Ray J would ever go public with the videotape and do something to betray her.

But apparently Kim Kardashian had it all wrong, as Ray J sold the tape for $1 million to porn supplier Vivid Video, which released the DVD under the title "Kim Kardashian Superstar" and posted the footage on its Web site, and several other entertainment Web sites posted footage of Kim Kardashian undressing and being intimate with Ray J in intimate clips.

Kim Kardashian was so incensed that her spokesman said she had "no knowledge of this and no defense," that she sued Vivid Video, claiming that the company had violated her privacy rights by distributing the footage. The two sides eventually reached a settlement in which Vivid Video paid more than $5 million in damages and stopped distributing the video. As a result, Kim Kardashian has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, where she is best known as "Paris Hilton's best friend".

Not for the first time

In 2017, according to foreign websites, Kim Kardashian was again exposed to a private videotape. This time the tape was reportedly 21 minutes long, which was taken during Kardashian's first marriage, and the exposer sold the tape to the website.

Kardashian's first marriage was in 2000, when she married music producer Damon Thomas. The marriage lasted more than four years, and the reason for the divorce was that Thomas was "physically abusive" to Kardashian.

However, this isn't the first time Kardashian has been exposed in a videotape scandal; in 2007, Kardashian was exposed in a private videotape with her boyfriend Ray Jay.
