Like I already said, there are more and more old people in China as the country ages. A lot of public **** facilities can't keep up with the needs of the elderly anymore. Sometimes you can't just say what this elderly person is not.
I'm sure if there was a small, tree-lined, flowery square for them to dance in, the elderly wouldn't be hogging the basketball court. But in this case, these old people are leaning on the elderly a bit. You have a need, we all understand, but it does not mean that you occupy the basketball court is deserved.
The purpose of building a basketball court is to play basketball for everyone. Square dancing can be done in many places, but basketball can only be played on a basketball court. If you are reasonable, you can find another place to dance and return the basketball court to its original purpose. You want to exercise, you want to be active, and young people need to be active!
The Chinese are concerned about honoring the old and loving the young. But remember, honoring the old is honoring those who deserve it. And don't forget, there's also the phrase "love the young" at the end. There is nothing to respect about these old people who only think about themselves and not their offspring.
