The first snow in Marcand is in late autumn and early winter. We went to Chunkou Village in Dazang Township and looked around from the observation deck. The mountain is bald, covered with snow clothes, the roof is pure, and the terraces are covered with ice. In front of a Buddhist temple, there is the Dazang Temple. The golden stupa is lined with white frost and snow, which makes it more solemn.
The Great Tibetan Temple is close at hand, so it is not easy to really go there. The car climbed over the mountains and the mountain road was tortuous. Only one car can drive, and turn back to a 30-degree slope every 100 meter. The vehicle is like a vigorous leopard, running on the rugged road and climbing upwards. Looking out of the window, the road at the bottom of the ditch is getting farther and farther. We are like hanging in the air, reaching for the snow at the top of the branches and looking up at the white clouds in the snow-capped mountains.
The Way will not be smooth sailing. On the way, the wind horse flag swayed in the wind on the hillside of the valley. Densely printed Tibetan spells, as well as prayer flags of Buddha statues and mascots, float between the earth and the sky, forming a vast landscape connecting the earth and the sky. These prayer flags and the passing wind know the happiness of people here, and the red flag is inserted on the lawn, shining like antlers; Red banners are inserted in the roof, like red fire, which will flourish forever, so the banners become the embellishment of nature and naturally become the embrace of banners. The overwhelming wind and horse flags, hunting and dancing, soothe the steep roads and obstacles at the moment, and my heart is dizzy.
The car suddenly stopped outside the Dazang Temple. My legs are a little weak, probably because of lack of oxygen at high altitude, or because the car leaving the air conditioner feels cold and my body has not adapted to the temperature here. Then it is perceived that the ancients built temples in high mountains and deep forests, or in places with cold climate, in fact, they also had their intentions and beauty. Only when the yogi is truly isolated from the world of mortals and divorced from the hustle and bustle can he really concentrate on his practice; Pilgrims can worship Buddha easily if they don't go through a difficult journey. Where can they clearly feel pain and discomfort because of physical suffering, but get spiritual baptism? Then the sublimation of soul is even more out of reach.
The plaque of Dazang Temple is hung high at the entrance of the temple, and the south of Tibet is covered with golden characters. The inscription was written by "Ai Xin Qiao Luo Hengyi", a direct descendant of the royal family in the last dynasty of China, the great-granddaughter of Duan Wang Zaiyi and an important descendant of the court painting school. This plaque was inscribed after the reconstruction of the Dazang Temple in the 1990s. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Dazang Temple was highly respected by the emperor and the imperial court and supported by the royal family for a long time, including artifacts, seals, gold, treasures, cloth and daily necessities of monks. The name of the temple was written by Heng Yi, the last royal family, which is a tradition and follows the laws of history.
After 600 years of ups and downs, time has shrunk into a light in front of the Dazang Temple. From the past to the present, from one shore to the other, snails are heavy, chanting voices, following the light, distinguishing sounds, not feeling that things have changed, and dreams are waking up.
two
The snow covered the roof tiles of the Dazang Temple, and the eaves were frozen, which was too cold to stop our tourists' eagerness. A heart ups and downs in the world of mortals, with a hint of curiosity, a kind of realism, is close to the legendary temple, looking for it and looking down.
Dazang Temple is located halfway up the mountain in Qukeer. The mountain is shaped like a giant elephant, and the temple is built in the position of "elephant neck". The nearby mountains surround the central area, naturally forming the arrangement of thirteen Vader Vader Vajra altars. In the center of the temple, as far as you can see, there is a mountain peak in the southeast and northwest, just like the protector of the altar city.
The first snow soaked the hills, the clouds covered the fog in the distance, and the spires of the peaks were like salt dust. The snow hasn't closed the mountain yet, so kindly leave a trail for people to walk. An eagle, flying from a distance, hovered in the sky, shooting an arrow at the steep rock wall. White hilltops and black eagle wings, like a fleeting picture, wield heroic brushstrokes in the sky. Not far from the temple, a big tree stands, perhaps touched by the flight path of the goshawk. When its tip shakes, it "explodes" dozens of birds, flapping its wings and pouring away in the direction of the valley like a flowing black silk.
A short-tailed yellow dog, whose hoof fell on the snow and printed plum blossoms. It jumped down the steps at the door, as if it soon recognized that we were just pilgrims. With sympathy and goodwill, it quickly flashed to the door and shook its short tail in a friendly way to welcome us from afar.
Entering the temple gate, passing through a square about 20 meters wide and climbing the steps, it is a grand and solemn hall. Eight treasures with white stripes and black background are hung on the front of Dajingtang, and the roof is gold plated. From the gray clouds, there are a few rays of tenacious sunshine, and spotlights are generally projected on the human world, making the upturned eaves scrubbed by snow shine. It was quiet everywhere, people's footsteps sounded like an alarm, and snowballs fell on the roof. Flying snow pink diamond entered the neck, bringing cool touch and refreshing spirit. At the same time, with a pious and quiet heart, I gathered my eyebrows and lowered my eyes, took off my shoes and walked slowly into the hall.
The interior of the hall is richly decorated, and the upper wall is exquisite Thangka, with vivid pictures and Buddhist stories. The temple is full of portraits of Buddha and living Buddha, and the left ear hall and stone wall are dedicated to more than a thousand Buddha statues; There are 1000 statues of Tara in the right ear temple.
A "sacred pillar" wrapped in yellow satin, known as the "first pillar of Dazang Temple", is said to have been selected by the founder of the temple, Awang Zaba, and has a history of 600 years. The past sufferings and glories have been washed away by the Qinghe River of time for countless times, almost completely. However, as long as you touch the pillar on your forehead and touch the square pillar with your hand, a 600-year-old wind blows your forehead and dispels the fog, and you swim back to your original place along a magical path of just visiting, thinking deeply.
At that time, there was no great Tibetan temple in the world, but there was a Buddhist disciple named Awang Zaba, who was famous since childhood because of his intelligent qualifications.
three
/kloc-Awangzaba was born in Jiarong in the middle of the 4th century, and went to central Tibet in 138 1 to study Buddhism with Master Zong Kaba, the ancestor of the school of weights and measures. Master Zong Kaba has deep love and expectation for this disciple.
1409 In the early morning, Awangzaba described the dream to Master Zong Kaba: a white snail fell from the sky, and they merged into one and fell into his arms. He took it from his hand and blew it to the east. The snail's voice became louder and louder, which immediately shook the whole east.
The master believed that Awangzaba promoted Buddhism because of his hometown, namely eastern Tibet. The loud sound of snails reveals that the cause of popularizing Buddhism is very extensive.
Awangzaba said goodbye to his teacher. When he left, Zong Kaba took off his rosary and presented it to his beloved disciple. Awangzaba held a rosary and made a big wish: "I will build as many temples as there are beads in this rosary to repay my teacher!" "
Before the birth of Dazang Temple, Awangzaba had built 107 temples in Jiarong area. The Buddha's compassion made Awangzaba forget his fatigue, and his oath to the teacher was a powerful driving force for Awangzaba's tireless progress. His faith is pure, like snow, free from worldly dust.
For the sake of commitment and faith, Awang Zaba would rather devote his whole life, just like a kowtowing Tibetan believer who came to Wan Li thousands of miles away, and for many years, he still had no regrets regardless of the wind, food and shelter. Every time you kowtow, touch your forehead, touch your mouth and touch your chest, it is a solemn exchange of body language and will with Buddha. The 107 temples that have been built have spent a lot of energy and painstaking efforts, but he still crossed the mountains and waded through the mountains to carefully select the site for the last temple.
Arriving near Qukol Mountain, Awangzaba has a hard time deciding which place is the best. While hesitating, a crow flew in, took his Hada, flew to a tall cypress and hung Hada on the branch. Awangzaba saw many ants under the tree and was busy. He was overjoyed, which indicates that there will be many monks in the temple in the future. He decided to prune the branches of cypress trees and take the trunk as one of the pillars of the main hall, and build the main hall around this pillar. The temple pillar made of this tree trunk is the "god pillar" that stands in the temple today and is wrapped in yellow satin.
Since then, Shenzhu has been guarding the Dazang Temple every year, and with its own flesh and blood, it has been integrated into a solid part of the Dazang Temple. It propped up a temple with a steel backbone and lasted for 600 years.
Close to the pillar, let it be quiet and ethereal, relax your hands and feet, relax your breath, communicate with it with piety, and vibrate with your heart. You don't need to beg for fame and fortune, just stick your palm on it, just like sticking it on the residual temperature of history, just like sticking it on your heart. If you know it, you will know it, just like returning to the hometown of the wanderer. It is a familiar and accessible past. It turns out that the reincarnation of the world has sealed the secret, and time has condensed into the texture of wood.
Immortals and mortals, sacred trees and believers, in the whirlpool of time and space, sometimes meet and sometimes separate, just like the famous six-armed Mahabharata Buddha statue in Dazang Temple, which shines in immortal legends.

When the Dazang Temple was about to be completed, Awang Zaba was distressed that he could not find a skilled craftsman to shape the Buddha statue. One day, three black people who claimed to be from India came to stay in the temple and said they were sculptors. Awangzaba was very happy and invited them to create a Buddha statue for Dazang Temple. In the end, only one black man agreed to stay.
The inauguration ceremony of the temple is about to be held, and the men in black have already built other Buddha statues. Except for a six-armed Mahagara Buddha statue, only the upper body was built, which was not completed in time. In desperation, Awangzaba decided to hold the completion ceremony as scheduled.
At the end of the celebration, the black sculptor put on a huge protector mask and danced like no one was watching. Everyone looked at him, and he didn't notice. People's surprised eyes seemed to be driven by a powerful force, dancing faster and faster, and their posture was sensitive, like wind and electricity. In the blink of an eye, the black eagle disappeared without a trace, just like being blown away by the wind. Everyone wiped their eyes and their eyes fell to the ground-there was only one mask left on the ground, trembling slightly because of inertia.
A monk pointed to the statue of the six-armed Mahagara protector and suddenly exclaimed. People turned their heads in succession. I don't know when this unfinished statue of the protector will be built. It is colorful and lifelike. Awangzaba understood that the Blacksmith was the incarnation of the six-armed Maha Caleb, and completed the statue by integrating himself into the Dharma statue.
Miracles are convincing. There is no natural barrier between god and man. Awangzaba remembered a black craftsman who once said, "I don't need to ask for a special thank you, but I want the same as the monks." Since then, the Dazang Temple has a firm tradition. Whenever a donor comes to the temple to distribute offerings, the reciter will remind Qingyin: "Don't forget to give an offering to the' black man'!"
In the Dazang Temple, the monks regard the six-armed Mahagara as a living member of the monks, and even when calculating the population of monks in the temple, they will seriously include him.
God appears in the form of a human being and blends in with the statue of God, but reminds him to stay in the world "just like a monk". The seemingly tortuous blend of gods and men may express the spirit of popularizing the law in the Dazang Temple and concentrate on practicing the law, but don't think too highly of the gods and buddhas. They are around, and in the heart of everyone who does good, you and I are all mortals, but they may all be wise and can practice Buddhism.
Six-armed Maha Caleb is free and easy, revealing a "hidden trace of the flesh" in front of all the monks. Skin is just a support for our survival. If you don't inject fresh soul, it will only be like an empty container, meaningless. In this world, sometimes it is inevitable to fall into the entanglement of desire. In order to enjoy the wealth and splendor of the flesh, I do not hesitate to make a fool of myself and even forget my conscience. Does the Buddha bend over and look at the people running on the ground with a little ridicule and compassion, and then enter and retreat in another way, leaving seamlessly and passing on the silent enlightenment to those who really understand it?
When the temple was finally successfully completed, Master Awangzaba shouted "Dazang" in one breath, which means "finished" in Tibetan, and Dazang became the name of the temple. Dazang Temple, which means "complete self-confidence", is the first 108 bead on the rosary, the clank promise of Awangzaba to her teacher, and the burning flame of Marcand.
Marcand means "a place full of flames" in Tibetan. Marcand, born next to the snow-capped mountains, is pure and transparent, just like a round pearl. It is a tear on the shell, breathing the ancient breath, quiet today. 14 14 years, the Dazang Temple was completed, and a bunch of flames burned exceptionally vigorously. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the stars and the moon are bright and close to the sky and the sun. The snail's voice, through the fog, tore open the clouds, and those who know bowed their heads with tears, for the sake of God in heaven and compassion on earth.

Without compassion, the world will become cold. A wisp of Ji Guang on the snowfield has arrived. It may not melt the ice and snow at that time, but it can warm future generations and spread to this day.
On the right side of Dazang Temple, there is a small stone tablet engraved with the statue of Master Guanyin. This is a stone tablet to commemorate the visit of the Sixth Dalai Lama Cangyang Gyatso.
As an eternal mystery, Cangyang Jiacuo is also an immortal human legend. Of all the monks and lamas in the long history, he is probably the most loved one by the people. He once wrote in a poem: "Living in Bradat Palace, I am the biggest king in the snowy area. Walking on the streets of Lhasa, I am the most beautiful lover in the world. "
Despite the name of the Dalai Lama, Cangyang Jiacuo's life is imprisoned and he doesn't want to be pushed around. His inner repression further inspired his yearning for freedom and love, which was also his deliberate rebellion against imposing discipline and dark tactics.
Cang Yang Jia CuO's life, only spent 23 years in the world. In a limited time, it may be a kind arrangement for him to have an anonymous time to practice in the Dazang Temple.
The Dazang Temple in the deep mountains, in the silent breath, ushered in the biggest king in the snowy area.
Cang Yang Jia CuO turned his inner anguish into a kind of "debauchery and depravity". He likes to pretend to be an ordinary monk and travel around. Arriving at the Dazang Temple in the deep mountains, he felt a rare peace and tranquility in his heart, like a bird flying over Wan Li, and found a rich and warm place where he could temporarily rest his tired wings and place his restless soul.
Cangyang Jiacuo cleverly dressed himself up, hid himself in the Dharma Hall, practiced among a group of lamas, watched calmly, and praised the scale of the Tibetan Hall and the diligence of the monks. Like a drop of water, hidden in the whole sea, Cangyang Jiacuo's heart is clear and calm, and he feels gratified and warm with this group of spiritual companions around him. They are pure, simple and clean, and put themselves very low, so low that there is no trace, which makes Cangyang Jiacuo have a wonderful throb. He once pretended to be the son of a nobleman or a beggar in the streets of Lhasa as a prank to erase his aristocratic status. This position is a crown of pure gold, so heavy that he can hardly breathe.
Cangyang Jiacuo's concealment was discovered by an old monk who had been to Lhasa and met once. Seeing that he looked so familiar, the old monk became suspicious and asked him respectfully.
The old monk finally recognized Cangyang Jiacuo. He asked the old monk to keep a secret for himself, but the old monk begged him to leave some souvenirs in the Xida Tibetan Temple. Cang Yang Jia CuO said, "After I leave, you will set up a stone tablet of Master Guanyin where we meet, and those who see it will see me face to face!" "
The old monk made a solemn promise and later set up a stone tablet there.
The living Buddha who has been tied up all his life has been gone for more than 200 years, and his beautiful poems are still circulating in the wind. "The world is safe and stable, and we must not live up to the Tathagata."
Cang Yang Jia CuO's heart is half dedicated to the Buddha and half to his beloved girl. He has been striving for a little freedom and happiness all his life, seeking the truth, goodness and beauty of human nature, which has become his criminal evidence-"indulging in debauchery and ignoring educational affairs is not the real Dalai Lama." Kangxi ordered him to be deposed. According to legend, on his way to Beijing, he meditated by the lake and died. A generation of Dalai Lama and a generation of poets and monks eventually became victims of political struggle.
At that moment, will Cangyang Jiacuo think of the Dazang Temple in Baishantou, Marcand? He is in the temple, away from sin and close to the Buddha.
I looked back at the place where Cangyang Gyatso used to meditate and practice. Facing the mountain center, there is a thin layer of snow, like a warm whisper, like a continuous Buddhist name, and the disciples of the Buddha are still reading the ancient scriptures. Alas, there is no panic in the world. He left without hindrance, without tears or complaints.
On that day, I walked slowly to the Tibetan temple, and I felt calm, joy and joy. Perhaps this is the feeling of Cangyang Jiacuo. In the majestic mountains, surrounded by silent temples, and under the blue sky, he washed away the noise and meditated peacefully. Everything in the world follows nature, good attracts good, and beauty combines beauty. In the heart lake where the lotus blooms, a purer lotus blooms.
"Even if you don't know each other, you are covered with dust and your temples are like frost." I don't think I can disturb the quiet soul of Cangyang Gyatso any more, and don't ask if Dazang Temple still remembers his handsome figure. Everything that has happened is the best arrangement of fate. The world was originally empty. Only when it is empty and spacious will it grow into towering snow-capped mountains and tinkling springs, showing all kinds of feelings in the world, love and hate. A legend, a passing by, an encounter, is enough for us to chew for a long time and have a long aftertaste.

I wonder if the appearance of wiping is the theoretical deduction and human nature reappearance of "pan-god" in Tibet?
In the hearts of Tibetans in snowy areas, everything in the world can be made into Buddha statues and pagodas. For them, wiping water, striking fire and hitting the wind is a strange and real scene. They are convinced that warm water, warm fire and drifting wind have turned into infinite merits and protected the whole life. Everything is animistic, selflessly giving human beings a place to thrive, a place to eat and a place to live and work in peace and contentment. People often ask for more than just gratitude to nature. The invisible wiping of Tibetans has turned the gods and buddhas all over the sky into a kind of gratitude and gift to nature. Only the purest eyes in the world can see the deepest truth, and only the softest heart can appreciate the value of faith.
Faith is a seedling, even if the outside world is stormy, it can survive by love and kindness, by many disasters, and by one difficulty after another.
In the past years, Dazang Temple enjoyed many royal glories. There are ivory seals, brocade fabrics, royal clothes, five Buddha crowns, imperial edicts, imperial edicts and gongs provided by General Ming. In addition to countless precious offerings from the emperor and central Tibet, the Dazang Temple was supported and embraced by local 18 chieftains in history, and became the authority and center of the Gelug Sect in Jiarong area at that time. The Great Tibetan Temple in history is quite famous. In the Potala Palace in Lhasa, there is a mural of "an important temple in Tibet", including this great Tibetan temple.
There are six Buddhist temples, including Maitreya Buddha Hall, Zong Kaba Master Hall, Mahayana Mahayana Hall and Dharma Hall, as well as a bamboo prayer building and a Kankang building, which are the places where the two Dharma Platforms lived in the tin generation. There is a retreat behind the temple for monks to practice meditation and meditation. There is a stupa in front of the temple, which is 30 meters high and stands tall, containing countless precious sacred objects.
Such a magnificent Tibetan temple has also been ruthlessly destroyed in history. In order to destroy it, some people even used bombs. The whole temple survived except for the Dharma Hall, which was requisitioned as a warehouse for villagers at that time, and the rest houses were razed to the ground.
A catastrophe turned the Dazang Temple into a scorched-earth ruin. People don't know whether the Dazang Temple was destroyed in ruins, and the stars fell in the cold night, sighing helplessly.
An old Lama in the temple, eloquent, did a great thing that looked down on life and death. He put the statue of the custodian of the Great Tibetan Temple in Baba's pocket and carried it on his back wherever he went. Others ridiculed him for cherishing his life like gold, fearing that someone would steal his rations and never leave. I didn't know that he used his life to protect the statue of the temple guardian from being damaged.
The old Lama is also a mortal. For a time, all kinds of voices were loud, telling their own correctness and glory. The noise rudely broke the silence, and fear and fright hung over his head like a dark cloud. However, the old Lama can keep his original heart and old beliefs in the noisy noise. He used this belief to guard the statue, and the statue silently guarded him.
Perhaps nothing in the world can last forever, as magnificent as the Dazang Temple, and it can't escape this law. It used to be a Buddhist temple cared for by people, willing to shed blood, weave a firm wish, build a bridge, go to a country with profound practice, watch Buddha flowers and laugh, and listen to the morning bell of the pure heart. But its kind and compassionate heart failed to resist the impermanence of fate after all.
Perhaps there is nothing really solid in the world, even if it is as solid as steel, it can be easily cut. The human heart is harder than steel. Faith that grows out of people's hearts will die nine times without regret, and one day, faith will shine again.
When all the struggles fall into silence, when all the sorrows turn into anger, when all the comings and goings become eternal, a snowflake like the tender feathers of an oriole opens into a gorgeous scene in my heart. Love rises and falls in the river of love, and enlightenment is revealed in the mirror of enlightenment.
Traceless faith will one day make the Dazang Temple, which has become an old memory, reveal its true body and reappear its glory.

Zhu Qiren regarded "wisdom and compassion" as a good medicine for the soul and thought it was the way to cure all diseases in the world. When he returned to his hometown of Marcand in 1993, he went to the Dazang Temple, where he witnessed a lecture forty years ago. Although he had already learned that the temple was destroyed, what he saw in front of him still made him "difficult to breathe and difficult to adapt for a while." There are only a few broken walls in the Dazang Temple in front of Zhu Qiren's Bao Zhe.
There were no temples available, so the protector of Zhu Qi had to sit in the open mud to teach. Tens of thousands of believers sat on the floor, and the uneven ground and brick roots could not stop people's eager yearning. Most people burst into tears with excitement. Between people, because faith forms a bridge, heart and heart beat together, vibrate at the same frequency, feel happiness and sadness together, and it is natural to cry.
Zhu Qiren Bao Zhe could not forget what he saw and heard when he returned to China this time, and vowed to rebuild the Dazang Temple. In the next 20 years, he returned to his hometown many times to discuss the reconstruction of the temple with the local government and villagers. The whole construction process is like a pilgrimage, and every step forward requires full-hearted efforts. However, Zhu Qiren Bao Zhe did not give up easily, neither the people in his hometown nor his followers all over the world. Everyone gathered firewood, and the fire lit up the sky, and a new Tibetan temple slowly stood in the added bricks.
The rebuilt Dazang Temple includes Jinding Daxiong Hall, Maitreya Hall, Zong Kaba Ancestral Hall, Great Compassion Hall and Immortal Hall, which are eight meters high. , as well as the Temple Museum of Historical Relics, Debate College, Buddhist College, Buddhist Monastery and canteen for group dining. In the statues of Maitreya Buddha and Zong Kaba, there are many sets of tripitaka, Buddhist relics, ashes left by the founder of Adixia, relics of Zong Kaba and sacred objects of past masters. On the periphery of the temple, a thousand prayer wheels and a path for pilgrims to turn around the temple were built.
In its heyday, the Dazang Temple has hundreds of buildings, like a small town, with more than 800 monks, which is generally recorded in the literature as 500, which is taken from the meaning of 500 arhats in Buddhist history. 1993, when Zhu Qiren Bao Zhe returned to his hometown to give lectures, he only met "four or five monks". With the revival of the temple, the construction of the monk group has been gradually restored, and the learning system has been re-established. There are drums and morning bells in the temple, chanting scriptures and chanting Buddha.
I can't understand a word of the scriptures recited by the Lama, but this doesn't hinder my inner clarity. When I entered the Dazang Temple, I occasionally heard the sound of pine towers and falling snow on the eaves. People consciously relax their steps, lower their voices, and don't disturb the people who are clearing the field and practicing, and don't disturb the tranquility of the holy land. Being in the world of mortals, inextricably intertwined, "tranquility" is a rare state of mind, just like the rare dust in the spring, impetuous like a frustrating shadow, step by step. Walking in the Dazang Temple, I seem to understand Buddhist scriptures, tranquility, goodness, beauty and warmth. What monks read and seek is the peace, harmony and love of all things in the world.
There is a slight crack in the snow and ice under your feet, just like the "obstacle" formed by too many persistence in the past. I broke the fence, made my eyes clear, calmed my heart, and made this walk and visit full and enjoyable. Meeting the Dazang Temple is a warm and caring thought for me.
Near dusk, the sun gathered half the sunlight and hid half the face in the clouds. Grab a handful of snow from the bushes and knead it into a ball. It gradually becomes smooth and solid, and then gradually collapses and melts. Snow water flows along the fingers, and the sunshine through the fingers seems to have colorful light, flashing and jumping with the crystal snow water.
Snow falls silently, but it can accumulate white all over the floor; There are traces in the snow, but it can let us put aside the complicated world. Just like a tangible and intangible Buddha, as long as you have it in your heart, your heart will be stable and peaceful. Under the snow, impetuous feelings are clean, no longer displaced, and the honor and disgrace are forgotten. Wash out a cool world with the purity of snow, and build a rest garden for the soul with the changes of Dazang Temple.
