The Fifth Xiaogan Games, organized by the Xiaogan Sports Bureau, the C*** Xiaogan Municipal Committee, the Xiaogan Municipal People's Government, the Xiaogan Sports Center, the Office of the C*** Xiaogan Municipal Committee, the Propaganda Department of the C*** Xiaogan Municipal Committee, the C*** Xiaogan Municipal Committee of the Organs Directly Underlying the Municipal Committee, the Xiaogan Municipal General Federation of Trade Unions, the *** Youth League of Xiaogan Municipal Committee, the Xiaogan Municipal Women's Federation, Xiaogan Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation hosted the event, which was held from September 20 to 23, 2016 in Hanchuan City.
Unlike previous years, the opening ceremony of the Fifth Games was dominated by the masses, with a large-scale cultural and sports performance featuring bicycle riding, waist drum performance, taijiquan, softball and even square dance, reflecting the main theme of "*** Xiang sports event, enjoying the artistic excitement" and attracting about 20,000 spectators to watch on site. The event attracted about 20,000 spectators. The Games *** set up 23 competition projects, including agricultural fun track and field, the whole healthy line dance, public security shooting, track and field for the disabled, as well as three people board shoes and other special projects.
