Born in the Early Workers' Movement
●The history of the Labor Noon Post can be traced back to the Workers' Weekly, which was founded in Beijing at the end of July 1921 by the Beijing Party Organization; and the history of the Trade Union Expo can be traced back to the weekly Labor Tone, which was founded on November 7, 1920 by the Beijing Party Organization.
The main task of the early workers' publications was to spread Marxist ideology and arouse workers' awakening.
Tracing the roots of the weekly "Labor Tone" (magazine) from the existing historical materials of the labor movement, it was the predecessor of the current "Trade Union Expo" magazine.
In 1920, Li Dazhao, Deng Zhongxia, Luo Zhanglong and other revolutionary pioneers founded the weekly "Labor Voice" (magazine) in Beijing on November 7 of the same year, which was the earliest workers' magazine spreading the ideology of ****anitarianism in the Beijing area.
Early December 1920, the weekly was banned by the Beiyang government and ceased publication.
From the history of the development of the workers' press and the relevant regulations, the nature of the organizer, the purpose of the publication, the target audience, and the location of the publication all determine that the Trade Union Expo can be traced back to the early weekly magazine "Labor Tone".
After the founding of the Beijing *** Party group, it attached great importance to the role of the press in the dissemination of Marxist ideology. in July 1921, the Beijing Party organization led by comrade Li Dazhao founded the Workers' Weekly, an early and important workers' newspaper in China. in August 1922, the Workers' Weekly became the organ of the Secretary Department of the Chinese Labor Union. In August 1922, the Workers' Weekly became the organ of the Secretary Department of the China Labor Union, and in February 1924, it was changed to the organ of the All-China Railway Workers' General Union. The newspaper was seized by the warlord government at the end of 1926.
Examining this historical origin, the Workers' Weekly (newspaper) can be said to be the predecessor of the present Labor Noon.
In order to further develop the propaganda role of the media, to mobilize and organize workers, and to guide the workers' struggle, the founding of a new workers' publication was actively planned under the personal initiative of Li Dazhao, Zhao Shiyan, etc. The weekly magazine Beijing Worker was launched in Beijing on June 15, 1925, sponsored by the northern party organization of the C***, with Chen Weiren, who served as part-time secretary and minister of the organization of the executive committee of the northern district of the C***, as the chief editor and secretary of the weekly. Chen Weiren, who served as secretary of the C**** Northern District Executive Committee, was editor-in-chief. Labor activists believe that the weekly Beijing Worker and the weekly Labor Tone are one and the same.

In January 1951, the magazine ceased publication because the staff were all involved in the "Three Anti's" and "Five Anti's" campaigns, and 36 issues were published and distributed.
On April 20, 1967, the Beijing Municipal Workers' Council founded the Beijing Workers' Newspaper (also regarded as a reprint of the Beijing Workers' Magazine, which changed from a magazine to a newspaper). The circulation of Beijing Worker reached 85,000 copies, and the newspaper ceased publication on May 30, 1972. 1967, Beijing Worker was the first to publish Liu Chunhua's artwork as the title image in its coverage of the exhibition, "Mao Zedong Thought Illuminates the Workers' Movement in Anyuan".
