Celebrity Square to Xinhui celebrity effect to promote the history and culture of Xinhui overseas Chinese township, divided into a shaded plaza area, ecological recreation area, historical and cultural spindle area and leisure and fitness activities. Historical and cultural spindle is the focus of the square, in the center axis of the square, and the south of the bear (read: mud) son of the tower and the north of the Guifeng Mountain to form a straight line. This straight line is said to be the dragon's vein that extends southward from Guifeng Mountain. The historical and cultural spine of the square is built right on top of this dragon vein, with the Celebrity Terrace at its center. Celebrity Terrace is the north of the shade of the square area, covering an area of 11,000 square meters, every 10 meters planted a large autumn maple tree, *** there are 58 trees, the ground in the middle of the Guifeng superposition of green map, on both sides of the Silver (Chau) Lake, the fine waves of the map. The east and west sides of the celebrity platform is the ecological recreation area, covers an area of 20,000 square meters, planting hundreds of kinds of exotic trees and flowers, is a considerable scale of plant ornamental area. The east side of the recreation area has three landscape stone pillars, stone pillars on the ecological sculpture is _ flower, Xinhui citrus and sunflower tree three Xinhui specialties; west side of the recreation area has a landscape poetry wall, poetry wall has -, -, Guo Moruo and other more than a dozen leaders of the party and the state and cultural celebrities visit Xinhui left behind the poems.
The entrance to the square is a 750-square-meter circular platform, the middle of the ground inlaid with an area of 346 square meters of Xinhui map. On the north side is a rectangular colorful fountain pool with a length of more than 30 meters and a width of 6 meters.
Walking through the fountain and up three steps is the centerpiece of the square, the Xinhui Celebrity Terrace. The four corners of the Celebrity Terrace each place a statue of a famous person in the history of Xinhui. In the southeast corner is the seated statue of Chen Xianzhang. Chen Xianzhang (1428-1500), with the character Gongfu and the name Shizhai, was born in Du Hui Village of Xinhui City. When he was a teenager, he migrated with his family to Baisha Township of Jiangmen, and later lectured in Baisha, known as Mr. Baisha. Chen Xianzhang was a famous thinker, educator, calligrapher and poet in the Ming Dynasty. The school of thought he founded influenced the Ming and Qing dynasties and has continued to flourish to this day, known as the Lingnan School or the Jiangmen School. In the 13th year of the Wanli reign (1585), he was ordered to be enshrined in the Temple of Confucius, making him the only scholar in Guangdong to be enshrined in the temple. His posthumous works include the Complete Works of Baisho.
In the northeast corner is the standing statue of Liang Qichao, about 2.2 meters high (not counting the pedestal). Liang Qichao (1873-1929), with the characters Zhuo Ru and Ren Fu, and the name Ren Gong, alias Master of the Ice Drinking Room, was born in Jiahengli, Chakeng Village, Xinhui. Liang Qichao was a famous politician, thinker and educator in modern Chinese history. He was one of the leaders of the "Hundred Days' Reform" movement, and also participated in leading the War of Protecting the Nation, which accelerated the demise of Yuan Shikai's imperial system. He served as the Chief Justice of the Republican Government, the President of the Currency Bureau, the Councillor of the Senate, the Tutor of the Institute of National Studies at Tsinghua University, and the Director of the Peking Master's Library. His posthumous works include "Drinking Ice Room Collection", 148 volumes.
In the northwest corner is a standing statue of Chen Yuan, also 2.2 meters high. Chen Yuan (1880-1971), the word aid an, Xinhui Tangxia stone village people, 0 party members. Chen Yuan is a master of national education, on the history of religion, Yuan history, chronology, proofreading, editing, historical taboo and other aspects of the creative achievements, is China's modern outstanding educator and historian, was called by Mao Zedong "national treasure". He was a professor at Peking University, Beiping Normal University, Fu Jen Catholic University, Yanjing University, the head of the history department of Beiping Normal University, the director of the Peking Normal University Library, the director of the National Palace Museum and the director of the National Palace Library. His posthumous works include "Li-Ying Shu-Hua Series of Engravings", "Selected Historical Essays of Chen Yuan", "Selected Academic Essays of Chen Yuan" and "Hand Summary of Mr. Chen Yuan's Discussions on Academics".
A seated statue of Liang Sicheng is placed in the southwest corner. Liang Sicheng (1901-1972), the eldest son of Liang Qichao, a native of Chakeng Village, Xinhui City, was a famous architect in modern China. 1927, he received a master's degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and returned to China in 1928 to found the Department of Architecture of Northeastern University, where he served as a professor and director. 1947, he participated in the design of the United Nations Building, and 1948, he was selected as an academician of the Academia Sinica. In 1948, he was selected as an Academician of the Academia Sinica. In 1948, he was selected as an Academician of the Academia Sinica. He served as deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Urban Planning Committee and Urban Construction Committee, member of the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Department of Technical Sciences. From the north side of the celebrity platform down three steps is the forest square, the square in the middle of the ground is the Guifeng stacked green picture. Further north is a large stage, the stage to the Lin Yin Square as the audience venue, can sit 10,000 people. Behind the stage is about 3 meters high relief wall, divided into 3 groups, front and back 6 sides, the middle group is 16 meters long, the two sides of the length of 10 meters. The content of the relief wall is divided into the history of Xinhui chapter, people chapter, the history of overseas Chinese chapter, resources chapter and the development of the chapter, the overall design for the performance of the history and culture of Xinhui, is now in the pipeline.
Celebrity Square is currently installed in Xinhui's largest group of 10 beam lights, each beam light is equipped with 180 bulbs, can put out red, yellow, green, white and other colors of light. The corners of the square are also installed with three 30-meter-high overhead spotlights. These lights add a joyful atmosphere to the square.
