List of winners of the 12th Classical Dance Lotus Award: The works of Luo Yang Song and Dance Theatre Performing Arts Co., Ltd. such as Three-color River, Waiting for Rain Flower Stone and Xi Shi Bie Yue won awards respectively.

The 12th China Dance "Lotus Award" Classical Dance Award was pre-judged and performed in the evening of June 16. Combined with the on-site comprehensive evaluation, the judges' discussion and the examination and approval of the organizing committee, the three works with the highest scores won the China Dance "Lotus Award" Classical Dance Award.

The works of Luoyang Song and Dance Theatre Performing Arts Co., Ltd., Three Colors River, Waiting for Rain Flower Stone and zhejiang vocational academy of art's Xi Shi Bie Yue won awards respectively.

"Three Colors of the River" dances Tang Sancai, the ancient craft treasure of China, and presents the indomitable "Yellow River Spirit" of the river children with the help of the concept of "Yellow River mud" turning into "treasure handed down from generation to generation". "The work starts with the three colors of the Tang Dynasty, showing the process of ordinary soil becoming a handed down work of art, which contains rich philosophical significance and national spirit." Feng Shuangbai, president of China Dance Association, said.

This work, which took a year to create, tells the story of people making tri-colored Tang Dynasty. The "plucked music" popular in the Tang Dynasty was chosen as the background music, and it was played with traditional musical instruments such as guqin, guzheng and pipa. In addition, the accompaniment instrument of Heluo Drum, the intangible cultural heritage of Luoyang, was specially added to show the veritable "Luoyang sound".

China Dance "Lotus Award" was approved by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Dancers Association. It is the only authoritative and instructive national professional award of China dance art in China.

Founded in 1998, it is selected every two years, with five awards: classical dance, folk dance, modern dance, modern dance and ballet. For decades, it has provided a stage for the national dance practitioners to show their creative talents and dance vitality, and many excellent works have emerged, constantly depicting the era of China dance.
